Cutting your holiday short was sensible...thsnk goodness both Slaw and Jessie are doing well now. Jessie broke my heart when she put her paw on her face to tell you something was wrong with her eye. I can't imagine how painful having that grass seed stuck in her eye must have been, bless her. On a lighter note, full-bum-thursday was hilarious....not got a clue who Terry is but I bet he had a sweat-on too😂 absolutely stunning illuminations on the cathedral. Gosh. Hope Slaw is OK. Beautiful river and walk. We had a similar issue in France with our Yorkie. The same seedhead went into the top of the foot. We went to the vet who pulled it out. A week later, in Spain, he started limping. Back to a vet. It had gone through the foot and was coming out underneath. Hell. Good video.

I hope Simon is recovering by now? Sounds like Angina. Did he need stents? I had that op but after getting to the point of inserting stents, they stopped and told me it wasn't viable. They said I needed open heart surgery but there was a 10 week waiting list and they said I had to stay in hospital. Two days later I had a severe attack and within 15 minutes I was in an ambulance under blues and twos from Pinderfields to LGI. I had the 9 1/2 hrs operation and came home 8 days later. ❤

Ms. Slaw enjoys the little things, your life would be so boring without the antics of your little pets and the big one! 😉 PS: while on vacation in Florida, my boyfriend's mom had the same experience with her dog, the eye was swollen, and the poor thing was miserable. She took him to the vets and it cost her 𝘖𝘕𝘓𝘠 $460 for the consultation + $30 for the eye drop and 12 random pills!!! PS: Best wishes for good health to Mr. Slaw. May he soon get back to terrorizing the poor French.

Hi Pauline, I do think I had covid that trip. I was very poorly and lost two days of the holiday. The cough took me four weeks to shift 😢 We had no tests with us in the motorhome though and would have tested negative by the time we got home two weeks later.
