Sometimes, Influential villagers organize Dance and booze for poor villagers so that they can forget their poor life and have get entertained. It is known as 'Nachaniya Culture of Village' or 'Mujra' . Present filmakers evolved the concept and are using it in different ways.

Belly dancing is middle eastern. The dancer in the video is in fact Moroccan and is famous for belly dancing but she works mostly in Bollywood and she got famous in India first.

16:57 She did raised a valid question that it looks like all the men in this movie are in middle school. You are absolutely correct. As per the data, India is one of those countries where people loose their virginity quite late. Avg is around 25-27 years for both men and women and in some cases it goes higher such as 30+. Add to societal barriers, cultural things and many other factors there arent much interaction between male and female in India. In villages this moral code is even higher than cities. Due to this very reason sex is somewhat quite a fascinating thing for most Indian young people, in comparison to their Western counterparts where its a normal thing. And this facination along with societal taboo made them act weird not only in front of attractive females of their own age, but made them act quite childish among themselves too. That's why for any foreigner it seems quite weird that men in their late 20s (early 30s) are acting like teenagers (middle school kids). In a way this is a cultural shock for them.
