At 10:19 your daughter notices the shadows and walks along the lines. Without even consciously doing so. A naturally talented observer it seems like her mother. I hadn’t noticed that 😊 She is incredibly observant though, even from when she was a baby she never missed a trick! She sees and hears everything! Yes, we LOVE France 🥰 I try to visit every chance I get! Haha my goodness, French pastries are like no other 🤤 I wish they did pastries this good in England… the plus side to that not being the case is that I have to visit France more often simply to go to the patisseries lol. Peter is fantastic at driving, myself on the other hand get a little daunted by swapping sides of the road 😂 Thank you for taking the time to watch this video, many more coming from our time in Normandy ❤️ Happy May to you too! I love Lily of the valley, we have some growing in our garden at home. I heard the tradition goes back to King Charles IX when he was given some as a gift and told it would bring good luck so he went on to give some to all the ladies in his court. However the tradition began, I like it 🥰

I’m so pleased you enjoyed it! France in general has such a wealth of charming villages, many dating back over a thousand years. A very long history. Normandy especially being tied with our own history in England with William the conqueror coming over and changing the course of British history. Plenty more from Normandy coming soon 😊

So lovely! My parents traveled to Normandy for the 60th anniversary of D-Day with a tour run by Stephen Ambrose, author of "Band of Brothers", my mother was actually lucky enough to speak to him on the phone! That croissant looked absolutely amazing, I love your videos, so beautiful.

It most certainly was 🥰 plenty more days in France coming up on the channel soon. Thank you!! I can’t take the credit, it was all Peter. He built everything in the van from scratch and the splash back tiles were his idea too. They’re so pretty! 😍 I’ll hopefully do a van tour soon once it is fully complete. We just need to finish off the kitchen ❤️

It’s a superb region of France to visit. Lots of history as you can well imagine with our long ties between England and France going back 1000 years with William The Conqueror and then of course all the way through until more recent times with the wars. Do the French drive on the opposite side of the road? If so, how does your husband manage to switch so suddenly? I would be so confused LOL.

Yes the French drive on the right and we drive on the left. I find it a struggle but Peter is amazing at driving and can drive pretty much anything from motorbikes to lorries, he even taught drifting at one point so is well versed with vehicles. He’s driven all over Europe so is used to being able to swap sides 😊 unlike me lol 😂
