Smoaks, I just got back from a test ride on a $32,000 Spyder about a week ago. Can-AM was in my area and we took a 1hr + ride along the countryside. All the roads were good except for some that had small groves in the tire tracks. Nothing Special. Now, you're my goto guy when it comes to can-am's. The test ride was exhausting. I was constantly correcting the line the bike was taking. It wanted to follow every imperfection in the road. Only when we got on a newly paved 2 miles stretch did the struggle stop. I cannot believe anybody would buy a can-am. I talked to the other 2 guys that were also test riding, after the test ride, and they agreed with me. The next morning my hands ached from all the work I had to do to keep the can-am straight and true. I'm still in a state of shock. A $32,000 bike, top of their line, and it was terrible.

I love Kelly’s words of wisdom, “It’s someone’s weekend somewhere” 👍 We who are retired agree🙂. I so agree about the after market parts especially anything electronic. Since you removed all the aftermarket stuff and replaced that radio harness that rubbed thru (I suspect from improper placement by previous owner adding all the junk you removed) my daughter’s 2016 F3 has been running like a champ. She’s riding it to work and with her dad anytime it isn’t raining. At this rate she’ll be back for the next oil change by May LOL 😂😂😂

Thanks for the info on the brake switch notice! The 2023 Spyder RT Limited I have on reserve came into the dealership but they are waiting on the parts to come in. Hoping the parts arrive soon!!

You know we need to have a talk with Mother. Maybe we can con her into swapping good weather days through the week with the weekend days??? Technology has got enough problems without the programmers leaving out valuable info that you do sorely need. Stay safe and keep your head up. Some situations could be worse. 👍🏽😎

The BRP Connect (Now called BRP GO) app is constantly updating and has been working flawlessly for years..! It's much easier to not take the time to learn how it all works and complain about it... Lol We have two customer bases with BRP GO, one's that won't use it and cry, and the others that use it and love it. It's funny how the younger crowd that use it with their BRP Snowmobiles, Watercraft and Side-by-Sides literally never have a complaint one..? Thanks for watching and commenting Kurt!!

Yes but you Done it You just added A crash bar. Wasn't that aftermarket. We all do it a phone holder, maybe lights for night drives or fog . To be more visible safety wise. Or long hauls cup holder.

Shawn I have a question about my 2021 BMW F900R. I can rarely ever get the bike in neutral when the engine is running. When the motor is off it goes in and out of neutral with no problem. The bike has 7000 miles and has shift assist. My dealer keeps telling me I need to carefully feather it into neutral. I think that I have been able to do that a handful of times. I think this issue is the only thing that really annoys me about my bike.

Just wanted to say Thank You, I've been following your posts for a couple of years now while I pondered, should I ? could I ? what if ? etc etc. I've taken a leap of faith (without so much as a test ride) & have now ordered my F3-S & am awaiting delivery. That was due to be this week but I've been informed a recall will keep me waiting until July.. I think (hope) they were confused as they advised me it was a brake light issue, but after confirming that isnt an issue with the F3-S I sincerely hope a dodgy mirror lens isnt going to delay delivery for three months. Thanks again fella, wishing yourself & your Lady health & happiness. p.s. its the satin black/blue frame..

What do you consider junk after market parts for a Spyder. I noticed the Spyder you were test riding had the front fender lights and are they a BRP product? Just wondering. Good info as always.
