Here is an idea, you could call people up pretending to be some sort of radio contest that will give them $2000 if they can answer several trivia questions. And then when they win, ask them something and then get serious and tell them that they are disqualified. "Im sorry but the rules clearly state nobody from Gaston County is eligible to win this prize." Im sure that will really get some strong reactions. You will even be able to play sound effects without making them suspicious.
