We got a Starlink early last year. I got it cut and placed in a Flat Box buy Outback Comms. Its mounted on the roof rack. Just in front of the Tommy. So we can use it while in motion. I also converted it to 12V. Makes it a little more efficient. As we run it 24/7 when traveling. I'm not using the Starlink supplied router. Using a cheap TP link router with a Telstra sim as a backup. (I'm good at parking under a tree, when I really want to do something.) So handy having a constant Wi-Fi hotspot. We were using our Phones on the Canning Stock Route Wi-Fi Calling and receiving SMS. I was even doing my Employee payrolls and banking Durba Springs!!! Just don't park under a tree. Starlink is a big cost. If you don't have a justifying reason to use it. The $500 for the unit and the $2000+ per year. Buys a lot of fuel and mobile data. Did you stop a the Whale watching at The Head of the Bight? Keep adventuring and having fun.

Great info on your Starlink setup. Thanks for sharing. We are seriously considering it for content uploads, but you’re right, it is a big cost to justify. Having it available while travelling would be amazing though. Wow that really is working from anywhere! Haha The park was closed when we arrived so unfortunately we didn’t this time round but hopefully will next time! Thanks - happy travels in your Tommy too!
