Good video as a Cardiff fan but 2 things I would’ve added was: 1. John Charles 2. Peter Whittingham These were 2 important players in our history

@@TheSoccerTavernI wasn’t alive long enough to see John Charles but he was an excellent footballer who eventually left to win European Cups I believe As for Whittingham he was a Cardiff City legend mainly known for his excellence from free kicks and penalties and served the club for nearly 10 years. Unfortunately he died in 2020 but he was mainly known as the “dead ball specialist” and was appreciated by all of our fans especially the younger ones who grew up watching him play

cardiff also beat real madrid 1-0 in 1971 in the european cup winners cup in ninian park cardiff's old stadium before the cardiff city stadium and the goal scorer was Brian Clarke

the red dragon on bottom of the crest is a Malaysian dragon not a Welsh dragon. Vincent Tan Cardiff city's owner is Malaysian and it is a symbol of good luck in his culture since he put us back to our original color of blue and white and Wales having a dragon as the national symbol of the country and Cardiff being the capitol and a Malaysian dragon being a sign of good luck in his country it has remained on the crest but it is not a Welsh dragon looks completely different.

It is a Malaysian dragon because of Cardiff's' current owners who are Malaysian. It is not a Welsh dragon. (2:53). The crest you talked about that had a proper dragon in the centre was in fact a Welsh dragon, but this current one is not.

The Soccer Tavern John Charles is one of Wales greatest ever players, went to Juventus in the 50s and became one of the greatest Juve players ever and was voted the greatest foreign player to ever play for Juventus
