This looks incredible, I hope I can get one this time around. My poor Genesis 1 is waiting patiently.

For H. Sampling why not use the Genesis profile?

I have used it but "at least for me" I like the default 4:3 as to make it as close to original CRT, but the Genesis setting is what it actually is .... I am aware of that. Just my preference. Looks great though, right?😂

@@TheSocialGamer Technically Genesis was never 4:3 even on a CRT for either 320 or 256 mode. 320 PAR is 32 : 35 and 256 PAR is 8 : 7 (both aligning to the same space on a properly calibrated CRT). However, for 320 mode, almost every game ever made for the system was designed with assets in square PARs. So 320 mode actually looks 'correct' with a 1:1 PAR. Check out the stage select for Thunder Force III for example. The planets were designed around 1:1 PAR.

Is there a way to zoom or move the screen so that you can’t see the digital line on the bottom? I’m able to zoom with the Framemeister and wanted to know if I could do the same with the 5x. If not, looks like I gotta hold on to my Meister

There are a few different resolution option on the 5X like an adjustment to the over scan Yes! I personally like to see the over scan. On a real CRT it wouldn't show the over scan and there is an option to do that with the 5X. But if you want to showcase a pixel perfect image the over scan must be there.
