Tip for the diadochi CB, after you flip a province you can immediately raise levies in that province

it’s not always optimal to do that, sometimes better to wait until you have all the provinces with the same culture because you can’t re-raise the levy until you are at peace. the antigonids in particular should wait to raise the macedonian levy until the antipatrids are completely defeated and all their macedonian-culture provinces are secured

Fun fact: the Antigonids was the regime the Jedeans rose up against, which gave us the Jewish holiday of Chanukah. The miracle of Chanukah is that after the Greeks ransacked the Temple and stole all the lamp oil, there was only enough fuel to light the menorah for one night, and yet it stayed illuminated for eight nights. A similar miracle almost happened to Laith this week, where he tried to string his hair conditioner along for eight days, but only made it as far as seven. And here are the results.

I've been watching you and Ludi play Imperator and it brought me back as i hadn't played it since it was released. Have to say i'm totally hooked on it, the game has improved so much. So glad they got rid of all that horrible RNG and made it lean more towards a CK/EU hybrid which is exactly what i think a lot of people wanted the game to be.

I tried this and actually fully conquered and also tried to not end them and see whenever it was possible to stabilise it… it is not legit impossible, my empire lived for 10 yrs then 12 of my provinces revolted together and killed me.

Ptolemaic kingdom has probably the best starting position of all the Diadochi, very defensible borders and a more stable internal situation than the seleukids or antigonids. It has a unique mission tree, which is good for exploring different game mechanics. Generally seems to survive the longest, both historically and in the hands of the AI.
