These are his best model ever. Just got done playing about 3 hours in mine and they're very comfortable and responsive. I'm about 5"9 250lbs and could never hit a step back in his previous models especially the 16's because landing felt wobbly until I played in these bad boys. Being 250lbs lateral movement was extremely good. The outrigger was a good decision to add. Cushioning was a beast. Look wise is like the 10s so I appreciate that and the exoskeleton construction of the shoe is keeping your feet on lock down. No one is breaking your ankles and Zion could never break these. Love them. Next pair for me will be More Than An Athlete on Christmas Day. I highly recommend anyone getting these, even guards.

They should of put some shark gills on the side toe box where the laces start lebron is not a cross over A.I. type of guy so that explains the lateral stability. They look like they are meet to take off and jam! It looks heavy to with so much lower thickness but if it was all cussion im all for it.

The way his foot was protruding off over the midsole does not look good, & does not look like it would contain the foot. How could they say it's a great performer yet air max felt unstable on the lateral side. These guys are bias towards certain shoes. Any other shoe they would say it's unplayable for something like that.

Nice review, guys. I got my pair in the mail the day before they dropped. IMO the highlight is the upper, VERY supportive. The C-Unit is nice especially for someone like me that grew up playing in stuff like the Aggress Force, Battle Max and Big Flyer. I wasn't expecting court feel with these hahaha. My gripe is the forefoot. WAY too big of a drop from the C-unit to the Zoom, which seems to be the same Zoom unit as the Zoom Witness (yuck). I feel this on the court, too. Through the midfoot I feel zero discomfort, stays cushy even through a four-hour run. But the forefoot is too thin for me and the drop is too damn abrupt! I like the width, I like the traction, I just wish they'd have had a more gradual transition from the C-Unit to the forefoot Zoom. Much like the Bron 15, this shoe could have been perfect for what it was shooting for if not for one fatal flaw (in that case it was a lack of stability).

I got the black pair and they are a really good performer for me, but I am a center/power forward so you may be smaller but I like them because I get all the impact protection I need and the traction I need to make defensive transitions and keep stable while running for a floater or layup. If you are smaller you can still get it but you won't feel the cushion as much as I do but you will be protected no matter what. To me, it is a overall good shoe.

I think the traction is just average. I don't find myself slipping but I don't think they have much bite and stopping power is adequate at best. This is not a guard's shoe AT ALL so I don't see any reason to obsess over traction. It's fine for power wings and bigs.

I think versatility can be an asset (Hyperdunk series, Clutch Drive, etc) but it's not essential. If a shoe shoots for something very specific or at least a specific range, then it should be evaluated on how well it serves its target audience. I won't say a Kyrie is a bad shoe for a seven-foot post player or the Hyperposite isn't a good shoe for a point guard. That goes without saying and is pointless. Yes, some shoes work well for all positions but a shoe that's specifically targeted at a player like you or me might be better for you or me than that more versatile shoe. Also this is a signature shoe so naturally it's engineered for its signature athlete. You don't see many signature shoes falling into the versatile category for that reason.
