A little while ago the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre game was released and as a previous avid DBD enjoyer, I knew that we had to get the grind on here. Unfortunately though it appears that this games achievements are INSANELY demanding and as you'll come to see, some are somewhat impossible. But that won't stop us... will it?

You should do a FAITH: The Unholy Trinity achievement grind, it shouldn’t take nearly as long as this one and it can be a nice break. It’s still pretty challenging, and it has great cutscenes and a great story.

As someone who managed to get the Fixer achievement on solo queue public matches, I would 100% say that you are so valid for boosting it The only reason I managed to get it was because the Family's Johnny had decided to disconnect, and I had gotten some super good spawns for valve and fuse. I am proud to have managed it, but I would never do it again LOL

Fair play on the transparency regarding boosting three of the achievements. I plan on getting Fixer in a public match. Almost got it on the Family House Map. Had the best rng with the generator, valve handle and valve all spawning very close to each other. Got the two of them but I think the Family twiged what I was doing as all three simply guarded the fuse box and caught me there. Another chance will come though 👍 Update two days later: Got the trophie in a public match. I think you don't have to actually open the pressure gate, just the valve. Was an intense match but it is doable. I recommend not commiting to any one area if it's too dangerous. Make the family think you are just looking to escape quickly. Got the fusebox first which got all members of the family to run into the basement which gave me an opening to get the other two. It was on the Gas Station Map. The water tank and generator spawned close to each other and the Connie on my team was kind enough to have already unlocked the gate seperating them for me 😁

I feel your pain when switching to survivor to complete the achievements. I'm a survivor main in dbd and I have the same feeling when I'm switching to killer for achievements, hell, even if it's something smal like a challenge for the rift tome. Now imagine they are adding new achievements every chapter, probably the same will happen for TCM, so I hope they are not too grindy.

I got platinum for this within 2 weeks of release and it was a nightmare I also had to boost the 3 trophy’s as I only found one person hiding but I had to wait for the first update to fix perking up so happy it was over 😂

IMO, and I'm sure a lot of other people's, as long as you didn't use a cheat or anything to unlock the achievements without actually doing anything other than pressing "unlock", you're in the clear. You *DID* actually get those 3 achievements, just by using a cheese method. You didn't cheat, glitch, or exploit them. If the devs truly didn't want to let you do that, you wouldn't have been able to as they wouldn't have let you get progress in Private Matches. Keep it up man, can't wait for the Saw II video!

The game id recommend is a older game on Steam, or was updated on steam to have achievements. Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition. An amazing rpg that would be interesting to see an achievement grind be done for. Some are challenging, but all bring a great story and gaming experience. Just good old fashion dnd based rpg.

For those wanting to do hooked on you, I'd advise using the perk that makes your chainsaw do bleed damage that you can find in the tree when you go up at the start

It makes the hooks so easy, also use the 50% extra well damage for grandpa..... you can usually get 2 hooks a game.

The trick to getting hooks for the hung up on you achievement is to either run rough cut on bubba and hit them and wait for them to bleed out which is much harder to do without killing them outright or have another killer run serrated and hit them enough to down without killing. Sissy works the best since she does the least base damage. But that being said it still not easy to pull off without major coordination with you and your teammates and without just killing them outright. I probably have like 60 hrs so far and my friend usually plays bubba. Weve been grinding this achievement for him and so far weve gotten 6 hooks legitimately. So itll take a while but definitely doable with friends. But its probably impossible or damn near in publics with randoms on family.

I think this is an interesting game for the channel. Story based games can be difficult to integrate into an achievement grind type video, and sometimes it feels like a majority of the video is dedicated to summarizing the story with achievements that happen along the way. There are even a couple videos I've had to skip to avoid spoiling a game that I have the intention of playing. Not every completely online game would make for a good video, but I think the right ones can be a great video for the channel.

As someone who boosted Get Outta There and Hung Up On You last night in private matches, I completely agree with these being necessary to boost. The chances of these things happening are slim to none, and even with Hung Up On You, victims will sometimes disconnect before reaching the gallows, robbing Leatherface of a much earned execution. The boosted achievements don't matter to me. Everyone can do it the way you did and they would be nearly impossible to do in a normal setting, let alone at the higher levels. Plus it would take the game from a 100 hour grind to 500 hour grind that would take until the end of the year and in my opinion it would very much sour the game for you. Anyway congratulations on another completion, can't wait for more :D

the cook is Drayton Sawyer and he is the brother both bubba and Nubbins (Hitchhiker) :) ChopTop which is Nubbins twin carries Nubbins around in TCM 2

When playing as cook you can press the ability button to skip the animation after the blood number starts raising and when breaking obstacles as Bubba you can hit after the it breaks and save some time.

I did every achievement in public matches without boostin. I think I got Fixer when I was at around lvl 30, Hung Up On You at around 120hrs and Get Outta There at 275hrs. Totally doable but takes a long ass time

They’re not impossible if you run private matches and help each other get them, at least the extremely difficult ones to obtain in public matches. I got all of my gallows kills in a matter of 7 matches. While you don’t get XP in private matches, you can still get all the trophies.

Ive played this game since it came out and then took a big break and just came back recently, im a victim main, i have all victim achievements and some family ones, i just saw the fixer achievement last week and got it done it a couple public matches it really wasnt that hard at all if you use leland with high proficiency and endurance or connie with high strength and proficiency its really easy especially on slaughter house thats the map i did it on

Yo Jazzy, if you are looking for a halloween game to complete I highly recommend the game Faith: The Unholy Trinity. It's an 8bit game about exorcising demons, multiple endings, funny achievements and a really hard ironman achievement to finish it off. Game takes about 3/4 hours (without hunting achievements). Seems like something you'd enjoy.

The gallows executions and pulling victims from hiding spots is genuinly too much, but i am glad i was able to do Fixer publicly I did it on slaughterhouse, connie rushed to generator, after kicking the generator i dropped down to the well that's right by it, hoping they are distracted by generator i was able to do fuse and then by my luck someone actually opened valve once, so when i turned the valve myself (without it even getting fully opened) i actually got the achievement :)

I decided to get 100 escapes before going down 10 wells. I was already at 8/10 wells after about 13 escapes, so it took a good long while to get to 100 without jumping down my ninth well (just to be safe).

I managed to get hung up on you in under 100hrs total playtime. Took exactly 99hrs to get all the achievements. I didn’t think custom games worked for achievements, so i didn’t even consider boosting. Probably took me close to 100 bubba games to get those 10 kills though

I boosted the gallows one and the hiding places one. When I was lvl 20 I got a 3 man of level 0 players. Got fixer that way
