Excellent informative video, all my life I’ve used Nike Titanium frames and Puma cause they have that rounded wrap are kind the face effect, but next week I will get my first Rimless Perry Ellis Glasses. I did a fresh eye testing and I actually purchased a pair of Nike frames with that perscription last month but was so obsessed with this rimless design and “curved angle” I couldn’t resist. I will be getting a Titanium Rimless Perry Ellis with the Knots and washer and cap and was warned the parts need adjusting every couple months and the caps if lost are difficult to replace. My Lens will be treated with My perscription , Xtra Active grey transitions, Blue light blocker & Anti-glare.. To be honest My old puma frame had Xtra Active transitions but no Blue Blocker ...This Nike frame I purchased has the blue blocker and Xtra active & it helps with the burning in my eyes with electronics so much. I do live in a Tropical country so the Xtra Active was a must. I wanted to be safe so I went with the grey but I do wonder how the gold or blue would’ve looked, I heard they have a slight tint indoors .would u advise that I buy a glasses repair kit online ( any recommendations on the type of kit) to tighten the screws on my rimless frame as time progresses. Any tips on maintaining them..I’ve been quite hesitant over the years of using any soap or chemicals and I’ve had no peeling that is see in some people frames especially with transitions coating.... the only advice over received is to remove and put them on with both hands ....so they don’t crack on the screw area .

Hi Christopher, I wouldn't recommend a repair kit because if you over tighten the screws even a little bit, this will cause the lenses to crack. I do recommend Transitions Xtractive, but Transitions Vantage would be even better for you. Curved rimless frames are very hard to make, but can look amazing when done properly.

@@thespectaclefactory oh I’ve never heard of Vantage Transitions, I actually had to specifically request Xtra Active lenses. With regard to your online website, is it possible to use my new perscription & have the glasses customized with a curve similar to the one in the video would be sufficient & have it delivered to me in Florida? At times I am even on business in the Caribbean.. I did visit London last year but no plans yet..

Hi, sorry to tell you but Tag Heuer frames are no longer in production. You can sometimes find old stock on eBay.

You should change your title. You are not making the rimless glasses but the rimless lenses. You are edging the lenses for a rimless design. There is a difference.
