War has changed. It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines. War--and it's consumption of life--has become a well-oiled machine. War has changed. ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control…everything is monitored and kept under control. War…has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control, all in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction, and he who controls the battlefield, controls history. War…has changed. When the battlefield is under total control, war becomes routine.

To be fair the line is still true, war never fully changes. The weapons it is fought with, the reasons it is fought over, they change. I'm also counting the manual weapons and the turrets that fire in almost the same way as them as the same weapons here) ship weapons combat system? They wanted more combat mechanics than 'you shoot the blocks and missiles and they explode, you put a decoy and it gets focused', a better AI to fight and more reasons to explore the world? Here, take some HANDHELD weapons, and don't forget your cosmetic dlc for your refineries ;)... also just forget that we said we were gonna improve combat 4 years ago, if you could ;)" Sorry for the rant, I just feel like there's A LOT of wasted potential in this game

I thought the same, though it doesn't make sense that it jumps from million to trillion, omitting the billion ( well at least not for the small amount the value changes at 19:33 to 19:34 )
@alexandermuller71423 жыл бұрын
the fact that in the english language you go from million to billion and jump over "no name Tag" .. why not jump twice to trillion.. same logic. retarded units have to be present even when using the right format.

@@carlquade3284 no huh.. in English you go from million to billion.. which is kind of "wrong" if you look at most other languages where you have million - "milliard" - billion - and so on.. it's confusing and kind of stupid

I feel like it probably would've been a smarter choice for spiff to actually get a better Marketing employee since (and granted I don't know anything about this game) but due to the role they have it'd have make easier and I'd imagine faster for higher marketing budget games to do better upon release
