Wound Reflection does indeed trigger at the beginning of the end step, so it was played correctly (27:19). Great game overall! I enjoy the thematic decks, especially when slightly-less-powerful cards get their chance to shine.

But Alex can stack the triggers so Maddy has to first make a villainous choice (but in this case you can just choose to discard a card before she dies)

When a player proliferates, they choose any number of players and/or permanents with counters on them, then put another of each kind of counter already there on these players or permanents. So not every counter, he gets to choose. :)

I love seeing Mothman. If it wasn't for Mothman, I don't know if I would be playing commander right now. I've not felt inspired to build a new deck since Ikoria. And I've barely touched my old decks due to overall burnout with the game and wizards of the coast.

14:30 I think it says "up to 4 creatures get a +1/+1 counter" and you can't target the same creature several times. Hancock should have gotten one counter total.

Mesmeric Orb is a weird card but it does trigger separately for each instance of untap, I'll copy the notes from Mesmeric orb here: If permanents become untapped during the untap step, Mesmeric Orb's ability will trigger that many times. However, since no player gets priority during the untap step, those abilities wait to be put on the stack until the upkeep starts. At that time, any "beginning of upkeep" triggers will also trigger. Those abilities and Mesmeric Orb's triggers are put onto the stack at the same time.

Goldvein Hydra was a creature with counters on it.

@@TheSpikeFeeders One Hydra was a Treasure with no other types because of Vraska. I think something got lost in the cut around 20:05 because Maddy had 8 treasures that weren't there before, so it must have died in response to Vraska?

At 19:59 Fil activates Vraska turning one of them into a treasure. It keeps its counters (which could in theory be relevant later). The 2nd one dies to the board wipe.

The Wound Reflection picture being used is the oldest printing and is now incorrect. It has since been errata'd to say "the beginning of each end step". The Dr. WHO printing and Double Masters printings both have this change. Other than that, great game. The slow dice move on Maddy's creature was gold lol
