Correct, next day for MPO gets more views than delaying it. So far the opposite is true for FPO - delaying it gets more views. Remember that MPO wasn't always next day, we had to grow it into that model over 4 years. This is year 1 of FPO coverage for us, and we are trying to think long-term and big picture, in the same way we did with MPO back in 2014. This model also allows us to keep costs somewhat lower and make budgets work. I can't afford a whole 2nd editing team for FPO, especially if that model makes the videos perform worse.

KZbin's algorithm favors daily uploads rather than view counts; even if the view counts are doubled by delay, you gain much more recommendations and spotlights through uploading daily. I don't know why this is true, but perhaps you'd see a greater audience if you stuck to the method of a video a day whenever possible.
