Focus on that as you flex your muscles one by one for 10 seconds each until you've flexed them all from toe to head. Then begin counting, from 100 to 0, repeat until something happens to you. I've been the local Hindu temple several times for meditation, read 3 books on professional Buddhist techniques to better meditation and this video got me into a deeper state of mind than all of the others. The number technique really allows you to focus on one thing, the counting, and once that counting ends there simply is nothing else to think to think about. It is really just a blank mind and the feeling is euphoric and at peace. Next goal is to map out this "new world." Can't wait, thanks.

I feel like these videos are the most intelligence there is floating around the web. I used to write and depict in my art a lot of what I would learn and feel through meditation, absolutely none of my friends could understand what I was trying to say. No matter how many ways and examples I gave them, they couldn't grasp it. Got so bad that I started to feel that maybe I was going crazy, so I stopped meditating. Instantly began to feel a ''decline'' take place through out myself.

What the fuck, I try this meditation technique. And im loving the silence, then.. I feel as if the room is expanding exponentially, growing off to my perception of infinity. I feel very panicked and scared, I carry on through anyway as I am so relaxed. Then rainbow colored spirals and shapes start to form in the infinitely big room I am in, I feel my body shrinking into an infinitely small point of dense matter, I stay in this state of mind for what seems like hours, just watching the colors and shapes.. I awake feeling weired and very relaxed, only about 20 minutes had gone by. What the hell did I just do?

However, so far I have not been able to "stop thinking" during meditation for more than a few seconds. To find that I had brought my ego with me, which was trying to rationalise, diminish and explain everything. Then I understood : If I'm still thinking, and having thoughts like "I see, I do... It's just a dream, I'm not really here" --> all those sentences are "ego". I just let go and everything changed.

I remember hearing about a private school in the states that focuses on meditation in between classes. Their test scores were off the chart to no surprise at all. It makes me wonder how many kids have spiritual experiences there. Our western outlook on meditation only discusses clearing your mind, but we all know the benefits are neverending. Meditation can actually become fun. It's hard for me to make it a habit. Even if I only meditate for 20 minutes, it makes my day significantly better. If we meditated every time we feel negative emotions I think we could rewire our minds for the better, it's no rocket science haha

When I tried the meditation. I felt something as I was counting down from one hundred. I'm not good at counting down so it took me a while to countdown. But as I was counting down. I felt like my body had become much much lighter. And then I began to spin around, like as if I were in a whirlpool. The longer I was in there the faster I would spin. Eventually I stopped spinning and my body felt as if it were calm. And I felt such a strong peace. And when I opened my eyes I felt this power that I could do anything. Experiencing the waterfall of thoughts and emotions that cascade through your mind is the first step in recognizing them for what they are. Just let it happen and don't judge yourself for it. The point is not to keep them out but to let them pass through you and dissipate. It is called a practice of meditation because you are practicing returning to your breath over and over. You may have to practice for days or weeks before seeing improvement, but keep at it!

There are a lot of things flowing through my mind at the same time (music, chatter - inner dialog, memories, quotes, observations, images, life scenarios, mistakes I have done and solutions to how I should have handled them, exclamations, etc. Usually, many of them at the same time.) I will focus more on my breath but some far, in about 40 minutes i could not get to the point where I am "observing my breath". Any suggestions on how to stop my train of thoughts?

I have watched just about all of the videos on your channel, and have been absolutely blown away. I don't much care about the negative comments concerning them,and can only hope they haven't dampened your sails from continuing your journey to spread knowledge. I eagerly await your next installment...peace love and eternal grooviness -a friend

There are 8 billion of us humans, I believe there is enough work for both doers and the ones just sitting. Just sitting, can be equally fruitful. And it is not only about how godlike I am, it is prayer and raising frequencies so that I can bring this feeling of calm and bliss to others, who may be working or helping. Also, after meditation I know better what to do, instead of being all over the place.

Who else here got an ad before the video about"BREAKING NEWS" brainwaves, monks, blah-blah, and it talking about how EVERYONE can experience meditation now or something...I though it was ironic... :P

So i've watched all of the spirit science videos, but what would you call this "following"? I have been raised catholic but it doesn't make sence to me, the human history video made perfect sense to me, that got me watching all of them. I have been meditating and using crystals for meditation and carry them with me all the time and under my bed. I'm just wondering what you would call this? Is it Spiritualism?

I meditated and the room felt A LOT warmer. My eyelids turned purple (Most likely from the colour lamp I have, but still), and I didn't hear my sister banging on the door... IT WORKED! :D

Meditation is the act of bypassing all mental boundaries existent in the material world. In other words, if you indulge your physical body when meditating you cease to meditate. It's all about patience, think of it as "being in the zone"; that moment where NOTHING distracts you because you're so focused on one task. Try listening to binural beats with headphones on and see if that helps.

I always brought up in therapy my transcending of suffering external issues but I didn’t know what it was then. The only issue is that rising above those external sufferings has left me to now deal with my internal sufferings, which have always caused more pain than anything external ever could. The next step I should take is to work through my internalized traumas and terrible mental health. Meditation is this next step.

+Nicholas Smith that's ignorant. These Christians worship Jesus as a god. Jesus was human just like you and I. He was just showing people the path of love which most Christians do not even follow. They are ignorant and are always judging others.

I have been to the Monroe Institute a couple of times. Great place to learn and meet others who are curious about the nature of reality and want some scientific structure included. I attended the Lifeline program and Elizabeth Kubler Ross was in my group. The first program I went to was Gateway and Stan and Christina Groff were in that group along with doctors and scientists from all over the world. Bob was alive and very active with the participants. He was a great guy, very funny. Traveling out of the body is a fast track to knowing that we survive death which is pretty valuable information to have.

@teb45139 жыл бұрын
Chuck Noris umm, I am new to this, I can't say that I totally believe in this yet but, I have read some of my bible, my statement to that is before you start hating on this try and watch the whole series so far before you can make an educated argument and this gives me more hope than I have found in other religions. I could explain the reasoning but, well see you really have to approach his series with an open mind and throw everything you believe and know out the window for it to make sense, I mean no disrespect to you or what you believe in, I haven't made up my mind about this yet, but if you watch some of his videos it will explain a totally different and beautiful view point to creation and life, I am also sorry if some of this didn't make sense, my thought were kind of fractured I guess you could say.
@chucknoris95279 жыл бұрын
Johnathan Preist I did watch most of the series, it's just obviously manmade 'religion' pretending to be science, a child could see it's a scam.. New Age pseudoscience annoys me because at least religions have the guts to admit that they rely on faith (and therefore have no proof)...
