The Domain is back with another Halo Infinite Mega Construx video!
Halo has partnered with Mattel to produce Mega Bloks / Mega Construx toys for over 15 years. This has spanned the release of Halo Wars, Halo Reach and Halo 4-Infinite. With this, they have produced thousands of toys and tens of thousands of pieces.
Mega Brands was formed back in 1967 out of Montreal, Canada. In 2009, they acquired the licence for Halo, originally branded it as "Halo Wars: the Authentic Collectors Series". Soon after, this was dropped to just "Halo Mega Bloks", before its third rebrand into "Halo Mega Construx", a more adult take on the licence. This lasted up until roughly 2021, with a final rebrand into simply "Halo Mega". What comes next for the brand? Only time will tell...
Halo Infinite was delayed from 2020 to 2021. In that time and after it has seen a multitude of issues and delays, but at the heart of this lies a true return to form and a gorgeous campaign. Halo Infinite Season 1 and 2 had a long extended life but Season 3 returned to the original promise of 3 month long seasons. With the return of Forge, Halo Infinite seemed to be in a largely completed form. Season 4 and 5 hit hard, with excellent releases of Firefight KOTH, Infection and dozens of quality of life improvements. Unfortunately, the seasonal format would come to an end with the Spirit of Fire update, dropping the formula all together to be replaced by operations. It's hard to say what the future holds for Halo, but you better believe I'll be along for the ride.

Do you think they’ll be able to work something out with bigger retailers to get better distribution for Halo Mega in stores? The one thing that keeps me from buying most new sets is having to buy them online. It’s a pain having to keep a close eye on websites for the few sets I really want, only for them to sell out in minutes while I’m at work or something. And then I either have to buy them more expensive second hand or not at all.

Naw, they only want to sell the most desired stuff in small quantities at high prices, like the flood gate set or the falcon. Plus if they released the desirable stuff in cheaper sets, then they'd have nothing to sell at overpriced prices. Looking at it from a business perspective.

@ainhalo I tried in any plateform to get this master piece, I'm starting looking to get it on Ebay for the 3x price (or maybe more if it's continue to up in cost...) I never found a way to get it officially :( And i'm bored to try hard to get scam or oblitered by taxes... It's not fun for a French customers to import things from out of the Europe, that's always overcost me to continue my collection but now, looks quite too difficult to get some cool sets. Not gonna lie, i'm happy to found the floodgate. But for all 2023 and more for 2022 sets, that's pretty expensive or impossible (like hero series) In addition, they discontinued my favorite line CoD... That's really boring and difficult 😢 But i'll try to get an eye on it to see if you was right friend :) and hope me and some friend can grab this beauty in next weeks, cause they really love the Halo line and Halo games ^^

I get it pokemon is selling very well but it’s like you going down the Lego section and there’s only Harry Potter and car sets. Mega needs to get more themes on the shelf they have been a 1 theme pony for along time.

They have sht distribution and manufacturing output, or that is because they're prioritizing production of one theme, hence the long backorders. So because of that they choose the theme they think can sell better. Idk but I guess the statistics they have indicate Pokemon sells better or at least more consistently. Could also be the store owners/companies making decisions on what to sell at the regional level. Every store chooses what they want to sell, I doubt Mega dictates what to sell.

Everyone outside of the UK should just ask UKers to help buy the Falcon Sweep for them or just pay the scalper price. I hate it too, but Falcon Sweep is an amazing Halo set and getting it for even double the price isn't so bad really. Falcon itself could be worth $70 and Noble Team alone is hundreds of dollars on the aftermarket. It used to be sold secondhand for up to $700 even...but I got mine for $120 and glad I have it.

Amazon surprisedly has a lot of halo mega. Phantom, pelicans, and plenty random ones still praying to see the falcon, and I also trying so hard to get the paramount warthog with chief and all of silver team. Idk if I will buy the multiplayer mayhem. Just not a big fan of multiplayer Spartans. Hopefully we get a new wave of halo heroes. This feels like mega will no longer do halo. Boys I’m preparing my self for the day that mega no longer makes halo. I will cry deeply inside and pray that hopefully they keep the brand alive.
