Yep. Definitely camera related. Crashed half a dozen times on me yesterday, every single time was trying to take selfies. In 140+ hrs before this, it crashed once, during a prologue cutscene, never in-game. It's not that big a deal on the cats in Xion, but when it happens in the Wasteland, you can lose a ton of loot, respawn enemies (and a skirt), and lose progression of the photo challenges themselves. This is why I hate the save system they've used.

You're supposed to line it up on the thing. It should make a noise and a little green circle before "taking" the photo, you don't need to personally snap it
