My friends and I built a tiny camper that can be pulled by an e-bike and I took it out camping. The total build weighs approximately 160 pounds and I pulled it with an off the shelf 250 watt bike. Many improvements to come but this was a first test camping trip for it.

Great idea and build. Only suggestion for lights is LED strip lighting, that would allow you to control the brightness of the LEDs itself. Also a fan to move air around. Great idea with the overhang. I have a suggestion for lightweight, easy, wall-mounted, inexpensive storage "bins" that we use in our trailer. We got those command hooks (2 or 4 will do per "bin") and small laundry mesh bags with zippers, with the mesh large enough for the hook to go through it. Stretch the mesh bag on the wall for measurement. Attach the hooks to the wall in the appropriate dimensions, and hook the laundry bag to the wall. They work great! Eventually the hooks give out in the heat around here, but more sticky adhesive replacements can be bought.

Steve, look into anything Cork for insulating the inside. That way it's decorative, and you don't need to cover it up with a panel and gives you more room inside.

Lost my sister to horrible circumstances years ago. Appreciated all the support friends and loved ones sent my way. Gritted my teeth and gave a diplomatic nod to those (albeit well meaning) saying "I know what you're going through". They don't, we're all different, handle and process things in our own ways. So I can't begin to pretend I know how you cope with the amount of tragedy thrown your way recently Steve. Just glad to see your back bud. Your the most genuine dude on KZbin.

This man is a treasure. He could mope and complain, but he just keeps it movin with grace. Truly, he is an inspiration. We've all lost, we've all suffered and sometimes, continuing gets hard...but Steve is a reminder that it'll be alright. Sometimes you need time, but eventually, we must return to forward motion.

Steve use 1 1/2" rigid foam for the inside walls. That should flush up with the framing and then staple cloth onto the walls for a finish. Clean finish for the inside and very well insulated to boot. Edit: Put a small towel bar above your screen window and drape a towel as a blind. Towels have a myriad of uses in a camper. Also remember to distribute the load in the trailer equally, important in a lightweight trailer configuration
