@@thatsnotmynamesir that’s not the issue. Break in period is mandatory on all new/rebuilt engines. Rings need to seat properly, excess metal needs to be filtered out of the engine via oil filter. The biggest issue is the metal shavings. There’s a reason on break in you have to change the oil at 250 miles, and 500 miles. Machining can only get so far. That’s why new cars usually have it so you can rev past a certain rpm, like the new c8. You don’t unlock it’s full potential until 1000 miles. Before 500 you’re limited to 5k rpm I believe, then after 500 it’ll let you rev out to 6-7k but still not all the horsepower it has, then after 1k or 1.5k the engine is completely broken in and you can start beating on it. People that say otherwise are the same people that build an engine and it blows up with less than 5k miles bc they beat on it as soon as it’s back together

They just finally upgraded to a dual clutch transmission for god sakes. lmao Aventadors would be the ultimate supercar if they had a dual clutch. Single clutch is literally a decade behind, and they kept making it over and over and over. Terrible car to drive relatively often and live with because any type of driving besides banging through the gears would have you jerking all over the place.
