Last step for the baseboards: play some white latex caulk, buy some white latex caulk and run a bead along the top. Use a wet towel to smooth it out and wipe off the excess. Then you will have a seamless look with no gaps.

Towing tip - always load a rear engine car backwards to put more weight in front of the trailer tires. Not doing so will make the trailer squirrelly. Luckily your truck has enough weight but could be dangerous with a lighter towing vehicle. Great vid!

If you do baseboards in the future, use a 30-degree miter on the field joints it leaves a better finish and helps with swelling and retracting through the seasons. Use a 46-degree for outside 90-degree corners as the gaps will close nicer and use a 23 gauge micro nailer to close the corners. Also, you don't need studs as the bottom plate is your stud. Take your hammer and push down on gaps to the floor and shoot what I call stich shots straight in the same spot shoot angled left and right so the base won't come off the wall. I have been doing base,case, and doors since I was 13 years old by myself with my own tools for all the neighbors. And continuing to all carpentry and cabinet making literally have done hundreds of miles of base,case,and crown for mansions and celebrities. Live blessed. J swap Jason.

bruh...looks good, but...just a helpful little tip: yep u are right that painting them before installing is helpful because you can get that top edge already painted and all it then needs is a bead of caulk to make that top edge look flawless. then use drywall mud (yep works GREAT on baseboard too!) to fill the holes and joints on the face of the base board then gently sand then only touch up paint afterward...

Auto Glass tech here, BMW glass is typically strong but I have noticed over the years of working on them, if a rock hits anywhere near the side of the windshield, it will more than likely crack out on a BMW windshield.
