I have to say I love this review. I hope you get a Prowler Yuri. I first saw the Prowler when I was a teenager and it was the best thing ever. Wanted one ever since but they didn't allow it on the roads where I live (Finland) until around 2007 and even then it was a real hassle to get it approved. Luckily there's the EU which helped a lot and some of the idiotic local restrictions got lifted. So in 2014 I travelled to the Netherlands and bought a black Plymouth Prowler (2000). I've worked in the automotive industry (or a dealer chain to be more precise) for around 15 years and driven hundreds of cars (BMW M3/4/5/6/Z3/Z4, Mini Cooper S JCW (+ coupe on track), Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, etc.) - nothing gives me kicks like this car. Can't wait to get it on the road every spring. And it's funny - like taking a puppy for a walk. Everyone wants to talk to you about it :D. It's not perfect. I know. It's not a sports car but rather a cruiser. And it's not a V8. But for me, if it was a V8, it would probably cost too much in taxes. The total cost including taxes for importing a Prowler to Finland is somewhere between 40-60 k$, and you can drive it from April to October, so you really have to want one. I did. A lot. And apparently about 6 other people have too since 7's the total amount of Prowlers in Finland. It's actually very comfortable to drive. Last spring I drove about 1300 miles straight from Finland to France and wasn't that tired or strained. That trip was around 2800 miles total. The car is highly reliable and I had no problems whatsoever. Best moments until now; 1. I was pulled over by the police in Netherlands on the first trip driving it back home. The reason they pulled me over was because they wanted to see what the car was and take a photo :D ! 2. I'd had the car for 3 weeks when a local guy with a Lambo went by (the opposite direction of course ;) ). I waved at him but he looked very grumpy - I guess I was stealing his spotlight :D. 3. Every trip I take I get 1-5 thumbs up from people I've never met. Love the car! And great content guys, keep up the good work!

I find it interesting how they broke apart Plymouth. I had a 2000 Plymouth Neon. It drove much better than my girlfriend-at-the-time's Dodge Neon but I think it was mainly because mine had the premium alloys with 5 speed manual whereas hers had the steelies with the auto. Mine had more Mitsubishi logos on various parts under the hood than hers interestingly enough. After 2001, all Neons were Dodge but the Prowler went to Chrysler.

Twin Turbocharged Gaming I suppose you are right. Damn.
@aussiebloke6096 жыл бұрын
More technically, it's generally referred to as "front-mid", to differentiate between this layout and the classic behind-the-cockpit setup. It will certainly help with the handling, but they're still usually somewhat front biased unless they use a transaxle at the rear in lieu of a conventional gearbox bolted to the engine.
@themza9126 жыл бұрын
this has a transaxle...its a 50/50 distribution
@d.e.b.b57885 жыл бұрын
@@aussiebloke609 Pay attention. The transaxle in the rear is mentioned in the video. No one ever referred to the 928 as a 'front mid' either. Perfect balance. Bias depends upon suspension setup with these cars, not where the part go.
@aussiebloke6095 жыл бұрын
@D.E.B. B Pay attention. I was giving a general rule about front-mid layouts. Incidentally, suspension setup is almost irrelevant because weight distribution bias is about the _distribution of the weight._ Meaning where the parts actually are in the vehicle, in relation to the wheelbase and track. Firm, soft, playing with toe or camper angles...these will do nothing to change how much weight is in the front, and how much is in the rear.

Armed with cutting edge Technology bulletproof suits, an anti-gravity belt that enables him to fly, a cape with holographic camouflage-style invisibility properties and a mask with a round red lens over his left eye, which includes the ability to see and aim in the dark and fire a laser beam. Better leather and suede. Recaro seats, cue ball shift knob and the all important dice on the rear view mirror. Maybe a nozzle that spritz fuel in the exhaust to make it breathe fire. My dad's prowler is silver with tinted windows, tinted tail lights, and the bumpers are painted silver to match the car so it looks more natural. Also, the front bumpers have gaping holes where those cheap, plastic, clear/white caps are. Not sure why they capped them but it looks odd. Oh and it has scissor doors. This is probably the only car where putting scissor doors on it actually makes it easier to enter.

I love Prowlers. There is a Chrysler Crossfire club in London and I've even seen a Crossfire SRT-6 engine in a Prowler. Wild!

Front mid engined, rear transaxle is the boss layout for a front engined rear wheel drive car.

It so reminds me of Luigi as well. Why no V8? Anyway, I have to give props for Chrysler making it almost exactly like the concept car, and them not caring that some people won't get it.
