Great video! I was one of the first to get a 2025 Explorer ST, from My local Ford dealership and I absolutely love it. Coming from an off-road vehicle to something sportier has been amazing. I got the red-it’s definitely the best color option although I never got to see the blue in person. A couple of quick notes: • There is a Calm View display that shows speed in the center. • The speakers sound great to me. Ford’s B&O sound bar gives more of a theater-like experience compared to traditional setups. Also, it’s worth mentioning that the Explorer ST runs on both 87 and 91 octane. I run 87 in the winter and 91 in the warmer months. On 91, I average 17.2 MPG combined with a mix of highway and city driving, mostly in Normal or Eco mode. With 87, I was only getting 13.1 MPG, and you definitely feel the difference in power and responsiveness with 91. Thanks again for the awesome review!

I logged in just so I could leave this comment bc DAMN. I thought this was well known regarding the tailpipes!!! I used to work at Ford and there is a much more important reason than carbon buildup for the down facing exhaust pipes. It’s from the police car scandals where police were getting carbon dioxide poisoning from the exhaust leaking into the back hatch while idling for long periods. The solution was to point them down. Ford is cheap so that meant all exhaust on the Explorer’s and Aviator’s feature this to make production efficient. I have an Explorer and this does not bother me at all, glad I’m not being poisoned while idling.

Yuri, You can lock a Mazda (I have a 2016 CX-5) after starting if you take the metal key out of the fob (Old Key fobs are better) and do it. It is cumbersome (Takes 5 mins), but does not require subscription. It will only suck if you live in Condo. and No one can steal it.

I test drove one of these recently, back-to-back with the ST-Line. Great SUVs, I enjoyed them a lot! About the suspension... I much preferred the suspension in the ST-Line, the ST was a tad too stiff for a family hauler. I think Ford can fix this by adding their magneride to the ST. Boom, problem solved!

Congratulations to Yuri, with the little new wrinkly raisin. Those things are a heck lot more important than any car. Why do we need another three row family mower, that accelerates as a sports car? Most people commutes at a very slow pace. The thing should have a diesel engine. The Citroen Berlingo / Peugeot Tepee or Peugeot 5008 all do over 65 MPG and in real life conditions they got no issues with following the traffic at all.
