He specified “putting her into canon”. She’s not canon anymore, chief. It’s not settling for crumbs, it’s just accepting that Legends is no longer canon and has no bearing on what happens in Star Wars anymore. Someone being happy that something may be brought back into canon and have a bearing on future storytelling or the possibility of seeing a character in live action for the first time isn’t a bad thing. But being a pretentious, gate keeping jackass that can’t get over whatever is making you bitter is a problem to everyone else that just enjoys what Star Wars was and is. Either stop watching, move on and get on with your life or stop pretending the EU was some perfect monument of storytelling and wasn’t filled with tons of garbage storylines and characters or that Star Wars was ever without its flaws and acting like any of the new Star Wars is any worse. The Legacy of Star Wars is just fine. The Mandalorian, Andor and Ahsoka are being very well received, Kenobi wasn’t as bad as all you people claim it was, CW season 7 was great, Bad Batch has been great, Book of Boba Fett was the lowest point for the shows, and in 15-20 years all the kids who grew up with the sequels are going to out number all of you bitter crybabies screaming in your echo chamber just like what happened with the prequels. Star Wars is going to keep doing what it’s always done, bring joy and wonder to generations of kids and inspire them to make the next generation of art and story telling. The only one missing out on anything is you and the only stain on Star Wars’ legacy is going to be the fans like you that make everything toxic and have made it so when people think about Star Wars they think about how bad the fan base is as much as they do about how much they enjoy the movies and shows. No one spends as much time on something they hate more then Star Wars fans like you.

Let's not overlook their names as well, Baylan SKOLL and Shin HATI. In Norse mythology Skoll and Hati are the wolves that chase the sun and moon across the sky. When they catch and consume their prey the sky darkens and Ragnarok begins. There is no way it is mere coincidence that they chose those two particular names to be partners in a story like this without it meaning something greater. Baylan catches his "prey" and a great evil is awakened.

People have noticed Zeffo writing on the great mothers temple. It translates to Kujat’s reign, Fallen Order fans will remember we were at Kujat’s tomb on Dathomir. The Zeffo supposedly disappeared into the unknown regions. Also thanks to the Andor show, we know that the Rakata did in fact exist. It’s possible that this power that Baylan is sensing might also be on of those 2 species, the Zeffo were strong in the force and so were the Rakata.

If I recall in the EU books, Abeloth was only released her prison when the flow of time in the Force was altered. Perhaps that "event" for the canon Star Wars was Ezra saving Ashoka from Vader in World Between Worlds. It clearly looked like Vader's last attack was going to kill her before Ezra pulled her through. From there, we see Ahsoka's influence surviving that encounter -- everything up until now.

Im surprised that nobody has connected that the father, son and daughter are referred to as "the ones" and anakin the chosen "one". In one scene in ahsoka a bat like creature is seen possibly being the son, maybe it is the son calling out for help because maybe the son is acting alone trying to prevent abeloth from escaping, or perhaps wanting her to escape. And ahsoka being the daughter would also make sense that the force draws her to this other galaxy. I like the theory that it is abeloth or the son calling, but personally id be ok with it being something completely new and fresh to star wars

You’re right, but bringing Thrawn in from legends opens up what I think of as the best parts of the legends book to canon. The yuuzhan bong are all the chiss and Palpatine and Thrawn in particular are all about, tying an extra galactic threat with Abeloth and the mortis story line I think would fix the universe. The closer canon moves to legends the happier I’ll be.

Does how they die affect that differently? Like how the daughter is now connected to Ahsoka per her death but didn't the son die not doing that? I know Luke is busy elsewhere with building bots, but id guess he could still multitask a little, how plausible and surprising might it be that it's Luke calling him there for whatever the reason? If Anakin is the father which seems already established and the father being the more power of the ones could he somehow resurrect/free the son hence seeing the bat and Bayan telling Ahsoka that she cannot beat him. So much resurrections on that planet, I wonder if Ahsoka's way home is in resurrecting Purgils somehow who's bones orbit the planet?

As far as anakin combating abeloth goes, this show technically takes place between episodes 6 and 7, so if the sequels still take place in exactly the same way, then Anakin was unable to combat Sidious when he returned so my thought process would be that by extension he would be unable to fight abeloth either. But then again since she is such a unique force entity Anakin may have a trick up his sleeve that works only on abeloth or something of that nature. But if he truly cannot do anything other than provide guidance on how to stop abeloth I fear she may be too powerful to exist in current cannon as is one of the reasons at least in my opinion that they haven’t brought back Starkiller; he’s known for being incredibly op but that kind of OP is too much for current cannon universe. Either way it’s definitely an interesting theory and I’m excited to see how this all plays out

Theory: Baylan's lightsaber hilt houses an ancient evil spirit. That's why it was not in the temple's hilt archives. That's why they inserted that piece of dialogue, giving mystery, but then also the foreshadowing of Baylan Skoll destroying 'the map' which was early on viewed as 'the key' with his lightsaber -- the lightsaber being Baylan's key to his goals. A hint by destroying one key with another. **However, if not an evil spirit it could also have a holocron with instructions in it. Perhaps a hilt that was top secret and hidden in a vault until the destruction of the Jedi Temple(s).

on the note of Anakin not helping, you have to consider. when one knows everything that is going to happen, does one have free will? he is now not bound by the shackles of time and, although he is evidently not omnicient, clearly has some greater amount of foreknowledge or awareness of the bigger picture. you ask "why isn't he doing something about it", but did you perhaps consider that he already is? when one knows what is to come and can see the whole board one can position the pieces for a swift victory. Ahsoka and Sebine NEED to be there, hence the intervention to save Ahsoka and potentially subtlly manipulating Sebine (or granting Baylin the foresight to do so) to give Baylin the orb. you have to think less linearly and more abstractly. we're dealing with concepts of time travel here (foresight, foreknowledge, etc) so forget the "think in the moment" checkers, start thinking like chess. several moves ahead and manipulating the pieces to a favourable outcome.

I hope it’s Abeloth because it would end up creating a war on two fronts, the Imperial Remnants lead by Thrawn and Abeloth who’s out for revenge against the Jedi and pure chaos, which will be awesome to witness in Star Wars live action but I have an theory, what if she’s trapped in the world between worlds and the only way to get in to free her is through a gateway on Peridia because the Mortis gods made it so no one could free, and why the purgill go there to die, but also that’s could be why Anakin is there, the one is the guardian on Abeloth’s Prison and Baylan frees her but has to fight Anakin who’s trying to stop him and Shin Awesome Video 😁

The problem with everything happening right now with Ashoka, Thrawn, and even Abeloth is that everything that is currently happening is so insignificant that none of it was even hinted at in the sequel trilogy. Of course, none of this was even considered at the time when those films were made, but they’re still canon, and unless Disney plans on retconning them out of existence, nothing that happens in the current stories matters one little bit. Maybe Abeloth does break free, and she eventually breaks into the world between worlds and starts using her tendrils to change various aspects of the world. (For those who dislike the sequel trilogies, this could be used as an explanation for some of the shenanigans of those movies). But then, she is confronted by Anakin, and if he can't take her alone - then maybe with the help of Ahsoka and Luke, these new 3 mirroring the Mordis gods take down Abeloth. (If nothing changes in the timeline leading to the sequels as a result of this, then maybe this great battle is what reduces Anakin's power to the point he can't manifest anymore outside of being a voice in the "all of the jedi vs all of the sith" scene in ep 9

Currently the return of Thrawn and reconsolidation of the Imperial Remnant into a united rival faction to the New Republic is what I think they should be focusing on Way too early to throw something as massive as Abeloth into the mix,especially when they've been setting up Thrawn and the Remnant as the post-OT main threats since the second season of Mando Honestly it'd be for the best if Abeloth entered the fray only after the conflict with Thrawn is resolved,or after the Vong are defeated,if they're even going to canonize them Having Abeloth's awakening running in tandem with Thrawn's return and maybe even the Vong invasion would be way too much to juggle Point being,keep Abeloth to breadcrumbs until you have the time and space you need for her

The lore/story about this ancient woman is very similar to the story of a woman called "Gullveig" in Völuspá by Snorra Sturluson, a Nordic mythology. The ás/gods committed three blood sins that caused their doom, that and Óðinn being so afraid of it and trying to prevent Ragnarök that he kind of caused it to happen sooner than it had to. They murdered and burned an innocent woman, "Gullveigu", three times because they lusted after her, blood sin nr 1. Non of them took her for a wife, they just wanted to f-her and hate her for making them want her. Óðinn drank from "Mímisbrunni" the fountain of wisdom, he gave one of his eye for a sip or two (I don't remember how much he got for his eye), than wanted more and did some shady shæt to steal and take from "Mími". She was pure like the one in this lore was at first. I love the connections in Ahsoka to Nordic and other earthly mythology and folkslore. Things like this make for a more exciting story, in my opinion. Then there are the wolfs and a certain number repeating itself constantly in so many thing trough out the show.

Here’s the thing. As much as I would love Abeloth being the bigger bad (even worse that Thrawn), she’s just TOO powerful to even make it work. She could snap Thrawn in half without a second thought. Although, it would be cool if the new republic was forced to ally with Thrawn to defeat Abeloth

If the Yuzhan Vong are also in, or from, this other galaxy, it would explain their hatred of the force and force users. I wouldn't be surprised if they made Abeloth the reason they mutilate themselves, like she manipulated and twisted them, and the whole Great Journey they went on, due to Zonoma Sekot fleeing, was to escape from her. It would be very cool if Shin ends up being Abeloth's new body. She actually looks like Abeloth, and that actress is great at playing a seriously unhinged character.

When I first saw the episodes of Mortis, a thought that immediately came to mind was "If these Three were now canon, does this mean that Abeloth is as well?" There is another detail, Ahsoka. She died on Mortis, and it was the Sister's power that brought her back. She might be able to wield the Dagger, and Anakin may be able to help her retrieve it. All the pieces and places are present, the only thing missing is Abeloth herself

Ok, so im probably wrong, but, Ashoka is taking Lukes spot (wise, experienced, very learned jedi), sabine is in Ben Skywalkers spot (padawan that is reluctant to reconnect with the force/use the force/doubts themselves), and Hati (shes the lost tribe of the sith member that loses her master and travels with Ashoka and crew to stop Abeloth). If Abeloth is a thing in this series. Seems legit to me since Filoni was there for the Mortis episodes in the clone wars. AND Filoni likes to bring existing E.U. to present Disney Canon, I.E.: The ones, Thrawn, and the Myriad of other examples in Filoni works

You know, they could end things with Baylan either possessed/eaten by Abeloth after Thrawn leaves and have Ahsoka rescue Shin, Ezra, Satine, and whoever is in Ezra's group there and they're fleeing back to the main galaxy to make it back in the aftermath of the New Republic force there having their teeth kicked in by Thrawn. So, it's not just Thrawn that's a problem, but Abeloth becomes a known threat that they know is looking for a way into the galaxy. For why, if Anakin is, essentially, the new Father, well, at the moment, Peridia is outside of the Galaxy, he may be limited there, which might be why the Ones exiled/caged Abeloth there...and it had taken all 3 of the Ones to seal her away before. As a thought back to legends, there might be another option for something that might be able to take on Abeloth in a fight...but, then again, the Bedlam Demons are also kind of a problem that you've then pointed at a bunch of new toys to play with if Tilotny was enough of an example and there are implications that there are others like her. I remember some theories with the Mortis Arc of Clone Wars that the Ones might be connected to the demons as well. And the view of a god like powerhouse with the mindset of a toddler being shown more things to "play" with might be just as bad as Abeloth's intentional problems

Oh hell yeah my theory that abaloth is coming back I though of last night would be so cool (if its the same mythical abaloth from legends and supernatural encounters would be so powerful. I mean if she can easely overpower the ones like nothing and had to be trapped by black holes,toy with grandmaater Luke most likely not useing her full power at all,and that even luke saidbthat the dagger of mortis most likely wouldn't kill hee. So maybe she'd be able to beat the mortis god Anakin most likely the only one haveing a challenge of fighting. (I'd think she'd win but It'd be a absolutely a long and gruling fight) and if this is adding the supernatural encounters lore for her it'd be even more interesting
