Why didn't we ever get a game about luke hunting for ancient jedi holocrons or secrets imagine playing as luke going into the jedi temple from the prequels it would've been so cool.
@neusyns4 ай бұрын
Bc video games are meant to be a challenge and the characters power scales as u progress In order to make a movie character a game character then theyd have to at some point lose their memory or cut themselves off from the force which luke never did. He restarted the Jedi order after the fall of the empire
@Tyrone-s7d5 ай бұрын
Malleus would make a great protagonist for the new movie with Rey about her reestablishing an academy. He could be someone who's been hidden in the dark obsessively studying every weaknesss of the Jedi Order and how to prevent any order from being built in the future. Maybe he could be kidnapping force sensitives and as Rey starts building up the academy she starts hearing stories of a shadow warrior haunting their dreams. Having two people who are such direct representatives of the light and dark but yet completely separate from the previous establishment fighting to build the future could be fascinating. They'd be disconnected from the old Jedi Academy, the Sith and the Republic, but would play perfectly against each other as new manifestations of the dark and light. Hell, just for fun we can have Thrawn observe it all from the background so there's still a brilliantly evil genius in the shadows.

@Kenibus I think so. So I actually just finished re-listening to the novel, and I was totally wrong about Daliens' endgame. Apparently, he was looking at opening a Stargate using tech that creates dark matter. He wanted to explore the stars without the use or help from the force. To prove that it wasn't needed and that it only chains the individual down. What makes him even more different is that none of the Je'daii can sense even the slightest hint of Aashla or Bogan in Dailen, almost as though he was born dead to the force.

You know… Anakin/Darth Vader could be the Sith’ari, if you read the lines of the Sith’ari prophecy in reverse order: The Sith’ari will raise the Sith from death and make them stronger than before. The Sith’ari will lead the Sith and destroy them. The Sith’ari will be free of limits. It doesn’t quite line up perfectly, and it still requires some stretching and conjecture, but it’s wouldn’t be unusual for the Sith, literal opposites to the Jedi, to take a convoluted approach to their prophecies.
@Tyrone-s7d5 ай бұрын
It does meet up pretty well actually. From his death (the death of Anakin) he raised the Sith (and Vader, a Sith Lord) and made them stronger than before. He led the Sith because he was the face of evil in their galactic empire. He destroyed them because, well, duh. He was then free of limits because he reconnected with the light side and passed away to the force. That almost perfectly matches note for note.

Nomi Sunrider is not stronger than yoda. We're talking just about 500 years of training and study and connection to the force against a woman who came into it late in her life and for just a short period of time. Her life time is like a blink of an eye compared to yodas. And what she could do is not that special. Against darth plagueis, she wouldn't even stand a chance. And I bet if she actually fought exar kun one on one. She would have died. Writers like to do this thing when creating a new character. They think, how are we gonna one up the last character. How can we make them better than the ones that came before them. So a woman who barely had any real time training with the force and to have lived such a short time using it. Compare to Plagueis she knows nothing. She hasn't even scratched the surface. So I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with anyone who thinks otherwise. ✌️🤘

Nice compilation but I did wanna point out about the sith prophecy. Prophecy are not meant to be literal. When maul revealed himself to the Jedi the Jedi were under the impression the sith had been extinct for 1000 years. Maul revealed himself on Palpatines orders. Therefore metaphorically raising the sith from the dead
@GreedySage75605 ай бұрын
Also, Palpatine did destroy the sith. His blindness to Vaders betrayal is what ultimately caused his death. If he wouldn't have been so absorbed in his power in that moment he would've sensed Anakin's return and would've been able to save himself and the legacy of the sith

1:30:00 Didn't you yourself (in other videos) say that sidious screwed the sith by messing with the rule of two that bane came up with and just hoarding it all never really intending to make Vader his apprentice just like how he never really made Maul his apprentice and just had him around as an enforcer. If anything the raise them from the dead after destroying them is the part that doesnt fit quite right with sidious.

Y'know. As a science person growing up it was really easy to meme on star wars for being about space wizards. But with midicloreons and stuff there's juuuuust enough science going on in the background to make some of the weirder lore super interesting from that standpoint.

@@anierikidemona its like you said, star wars is sci fi more than fantasy so the force having a microscopic life form involved in how it works is in keeping with the feel rather than it just being magic
@DigitalApex4 ай бұрын
Star Wars isn't sci-fi, as I'm sure you've heard, it's a space opera. The entire theme of the films is that you can put it into any genre or time period and it still works. The stance from original fans is that the midichlorians de-mystified the Force, thus taking away from that sentiment. It was a lame retcon to most fans, exasperated by the hate people had for the prequels. But the neat thing with science fiction is that if technology is beyond advanced, it basically looks like magic. Imagine showing Neanderthals magnets or something. It'd be basically magic to them.
@anierikidemona4 ай бұрын
@@DigitalApex I love the whole showing a gun to a caveman example too. I actually really appreciate the response though. Makes a lot of sense I guess if the mystical end is what drew you to it in the first place. Like I feel the midicloreon droid oil or whatever was too far, but I actually didnt know it was officially a space opera I just assumed that was what it was dubbed. The stripping of that flexibility makes a lot more sense than just being upset we can understand the 'magic of space wizards'
