i actually prefer pentatx rather then aluula, cause it's not as glitchy and also folds easier. The SLS seems like a great option and i'll probably buy some in 1-2 years

Thanks for watching! The SLS for us too is a no brainer in terms of perfromance, ease of use and price point. Very well thought out especially the eco credentials... maybe would like to see Duotone go a step further in this repsect and drop less colour from other wings maybe?

thinking of buying the "original", but afraid of making the wrong choice and not investing a bit more in the SLS. too much choice is also confusing ;-)

Thanks for watching and the question. Confusing perhaps especially given how relatively close the pricing is on the Original and SLS constructions. What we can say, is that from now having used both extensively, the SLS is most certainly the stiffer of the two and easily justifies the price difference. While the SLS makes a noticable difference in terms of performance overall, it is worth noting however just how much stiffer and improved the Original construction of the 2025 Unit is over the previous model; its superb and one thing that was commented heavily on at recent demo's at our Test Centre. So in conclusion, if you've got the budget then the SLS is worth it every day of the week. If however, you would rather take the extra / difference in cost between the Original and SLS and put it towards say a third wing in the quiver or perhaps another front wing... then you won't be disappointed either.

My concerns have always been that the Alula cracking after one season is not a sustainable product, has this issue been addressed for the 2025 wings?

Thanks for watching. Aluula can and does crack, however, we know that Aluula composites (the manufacturers of Aluula) has worked hard to address this. While much improved, we expect the surface to crack in time, but also in our experience this is very much aesthetic as to performance based with the material and wings performing the same as before.
