Today we are back and showing you how we created our Christmas fairy lights themed soap. We have scented this soap with "White Christmas" by Candleshack, a very festive scent comprising notes of love, orange, cinnamon and nutmeg.
This soap involves using the "I Dream In Soap" large extruder and Christmas bauble extruder disc to create different coloured lengths of "baubles". We did not add a bow to our baubles and this means that we think they work well as a string of fairy lights instead. We even add in a grey mica line to represent the cable that the lights are attached to!
If you wish to have a go at making this recipe yourself, then here are the ingredients you will need to make one batch that will fill a 5lb loaf mould.
Sodium Hydroxide (Lye) 218g
Water 436g
Olive Oil 680g
Sweet Almond Oil 198g
Castor Oil 114g
Coconut Oil 368g
Shea Butter 150g
Cocoa Butter 76g
Different coloured micas in shades of red, orange, green and blue to colour your soap dough.
Grey or black mica for a mica line within the soap
White Christmas fragrance oil 40g
