3:29-4:43 reminds me of the "possession" leitmotif in _The Satan Pit._ Probably intentional, since they have the same voice actor and a connection has been implied.

apparently they intended for the theme to be for the beast but decided it was better for the master to show how evil he is. I'm guessing this is a hint to the beast, as it is voiced by the same person who voices Sutekh. But, it could also be a hint that the master will be in the finale. Who knows?

I looked up why it was reused in this episode and apparently Murry Gold wrote the Master's theme for the Satan pit to emphasise the pure evil of the beast, but it was never used in the episode. He then repurposed the theme for the master because the master had the same pure mania as the beast. Considering RTD believes the beast and Sutekh are the same being, this music belongs to Sutekh just as much as it does for the master. I always believed there was a bigger story to the master's theme because it sounds very synthesised like the series 1&2 music unlike the rest of the series 3 music which was made with an orchestra. Now I know why.
