Loved the way they displayed maturity in this scene. From Seung Hyo being honest about his feelings and asking for consent despite being embarrassed, to Seok Ryu understanding him and ensuring he feels comfortable and less awkward by correlating their inner feelings to food.

He was not shy. He was making sure she was ok. They were crossing the line of no return between friendship and lovers. There is no turning back afterwards, as it changes them both and the dynamics of their friendship. He does not want to push her, for fear of losing her, so he makes a move after telling her how he feels and she gives her permission. Then he continues to let her give him permission, because he wants her to be in the same place as him. If she wants to proceed, she needs to tell him. This level of respect from him is amazing. You never see this kind of control in someone, especially a guy who was given the chance. He is making sure she is OK every step of the way they decide to go, not just getting the chance and overtaking her. This is the kind of guy every girl needs. He waits for her.

@@chinuspi well seeing that he didn’t plan on having sex I’m pretty sure protection wasn’t used. It’s all good though cuz in kdramas they don’t sleep around outside their relationship. You know the two of them don’t have stds to give each other. As far as babies though 😬

Being Asian and raised in western standards, this series should appeal more to actual Koreans. Stop with the nitty gritty of the effing english way of speaking the language. Who wants to bet that Seung-hyo's parents are coming home early and they get caught? (And No, I did not see or read any 'spoilers' - I hate that) I am only predicting because that's the almighty trope whether it's a K or C drama, or even Hollywood in a Rom-Com. The thing that kills me is the waiting for the next episodes. As the Queen song goes, I want it all, and I want it Now!
