Notice how in this break up scene when we are seeing it from Ung's perspective, she seems so cold and like it was an easy and quick decision she made just because she wanted to cause thats all he knows, he was given no explanation as to why and was left in the dark with all that pain to suffer. But then later on when we see it again but in Yeon su's perspective you can see her blinking away tears and gripping her bag a little bit tighter with her fist to contain the emotion almost slipping away from her, because she's making a decision she doesnt want to make just for the sake of not relying too much on someone and ending up hurt. He became her safe place and with him she could smile, but like she said, her pride didnt allow her to be completely vulnerable with him for the fear of ever seeing judgement or pity in his eyes, she couldnt handle it if she did

I cannot describe how incredible this drama is !!! The story may sound mediocre to some of us but the casts, the way of storytelling, the cinematography, every little details are perfect. We're only four episodes ahead but i can assure you this drama will flow on greatly untill the last episode;) ps. i've always loved choi woosik but this drama has made me crumble into pieces cause i'm absolutely in love w this guy !!!!

The reason was implied in episode 2. The "what if" questions of Yeon-Su. He failed to reassure her of his love for her by not saying "I like you" or better "I love you". She probably got tired of waiting...

This drama really give off the feeling they're trying to convey, Dami and Woo-shik are the best fit for this, they're truly great actors, you see them, their expressions and acting skills and you see the characters Yeon-su and woong and you feel what they're feeling, it's really amazing. They are hurt pretty bad both of them, I know Yeon-su had her reasons and she's trying to move on, and Woong was left clueless about the meaning of their break up and it's all messed up, so I think it'll be fun finding this things out while we fall in love with the growing of their relationship. I hope they can heal and allow themselves to find their way to love each other again.

as we watch more, we get to slowly understand the *possible* reasons why they really broke up. i also like how realistic the part how they remembered the confession because it shows how people tend to have different povs of same situations. /could contain spoilers/ woong may have thought yeonsu was the sole reason for their breakup (or maybe he needed someone to blame bc he felt vvvv lost after what happened, as per his dad's words, "he was different with yeonsu"). then she threw that line to him "do you think i'm solely to blame for our breakup?" which kinda sobers him up. woong shows his love through actions as he's not really good w words, i mean he even tends to say harsh things he doesn't mean at the spur of the moment. though he does reflect on it. however, i think what yeonsu needed was words of affirmation (she could be feeling insecure or she just really wanted to hear those things). she's cold to strangers but the warmest with her loved ones. i'm not saying woong's the only problem as both of them indeed contributed to the breakup (ys didn't tell him the exact reason). it just shows the reality of most relationships, and how they would use it to grow or let it pull them down. it's also nice that they show both povs in the same episode that we don't have the chance to be biased as "observers". overall, i'm here for it and i love it.

This drama 🥺 I love it so much. Up until the latest ep, Woong seems to think he's the victim of their breakup (coupled with the very hurtful scene towards the end of ep 4 huhu) but I guess Yeonsu was also hurting in silence because of Woong's fault too. I wonder what was the real reason of their breakup because to me either they're both at fault or the circustances led them to inevitable breakup uwu. Ps: the osts in this drama are superb like every episode we are given with new sound track that perfectly suits the mood of the scene! 💯

The key to me is her neediness. She seems cold and aloof but she kept asking him if he liked her. She wanted him to profess his feelings for her out loud. It really bothered her that he couldn't do that and all his actions weren't enough. I think her need has something to do with her parents being missing. I think it's also behind her competitive drive to succeed. I'm sure we will find out about what happened to her parents. As for him, he's fixated on her and can't move past their old relationship. So far it's a really fun show to watch. I like Kim Da-mi a lot and also like her best friend Park Jin-joo.
