No.It's not only you...this musical/drama sure brings a smile on one's lips & a tear in the eye...so heartwarming & spirit lifting... In defense of JCW, it isnt true that it was wrong for him to accept this proj.For me, as a real JCW fan, I strongly believe that on the contrary, this musical/drama adds a feather in his cap as a versatile performer(actor,singer)

As someone who love fantasy and musical genre, this drama has special part in my heart. The plot twist and the songs is so beautiful. In this drama, I actually believe Ri Eul is a real magician.. the way he made Ah yi met her oldself and comfort her, turns the light in amusement park, there's no way he isn't a magician.. there's a scene where the police find out there's cctv in amusement park that active in 4 minutes because of the butterfly magic when they're singing Do You Believe In Magic? Also, the butterfly necklace shining when Ri Eul using his magic.. I don't think people mistake he isn't magician just because he pushed the guy from hill , maybe he didn't want to cause a rumour The storyline is so perfect!! I got goosebumps when heard The Curse Of Asphalt after finding out in fact Ri Eul had experienced the same thing as Il deung :(

Based from a recent personal experience only 2 months ago, Curse of Asphalt feels like a track that is speaking to me directly, especially *"It's not too late. Muster the courage, to escape"* The timing of watching this drama is so bizarre, and it clears the doubt and fear in my heart. Do You Believe in Magic makes me feel emotional and comforted. honestly the sound of magic is just so.. amazing. It's the best kdrama I've watched so far. The actors embody the characters so well, and even sing perfectly. Each song resonated with me and touched me because of their singing. Not to mention the story, Ilkwon Ha is a genius. He made me feel sad, happy, content, teary, so many emotions at once, he's the real magician here. It's so touching how she (main chara) learns the meaning of growing up. Not becoming an uptight adult like she thought, but actually doing what she wants to do. The last scene made me cry. When she said "Do you.. believe.. in magic?" At her new job, it just.. was so.. I don't know. I don't have words to describe it. That's how special it was. You'll really only understand the charm when you watch for yourself. She's following the path of Ri-eul, making others happy, like he did to her. Both Ah-yi and Il-deung have such relatable pasts.The Curse of Asphalt' is my favourite song from the series. It's such a perfect representation of how I felt. On top of this, I actually felt connected with the characters. I cared for them, wanted to know what would happen. I was actually hurt then they accused Ri-eul, like it happened to my friend or relative. I loved watching both Ah-yi and Il-deung work through their problems. Also, I love how there wasn't any forced romance. In the webtoon, Ah-yi and Il-deung go on a date but it isn't confirmed. They leave it up to you; and I like that, because romance really isn't the focus of this story. (Also I would hate it if there was romance between Ah-yi and the magician because that's disgusting because of the age gap-) And honestly, the show made me think Ri-eul is a real magician. They leave it so open ended, you're free to think if he's one or not. That's one of the things I love. The audience is free to think what they want, and take what they want from the show. It leaves an impact on the people watching, and I think that was the author's real intention. Overall, the best kdrama I watched, it's so touching and I would recommend it to everyone I know in a heartbeat. It made me feel so many things and just.. I want others to experience it too. I love it, words can't describe how much I love it, and how great it is. You'll only understand if you watch it. So, do you.. believe.. in magic?

I'm really having a separation anxiety to this musical fantasy drama 😭 Especially, I am too attached to the character of Ah-yi (being the first born and bread winner), also to Il-deung pressured with his parents expectations and as well the society's and lastly to Ri Eul/Min-hyuk, I think his character was the most mysterious and you'll definitely gonna fall in love with, especially how he instilled hope despite the depressing moments of his life. Difficult to have a favourite as all the songs are so good and so well interpreted . I have watched this compilation several times as well as the film and after each song I say this one is my favourite , then comes another one and it is my favourite . In other words the music is wonderful , the songs beautiful and meaningful, the voices perfect . JCW has never disappointed me as a singer . His voice is so melodious . I love this series I've never seen an asain drama like it is so creative, when it ended I was in tears I really hope they make a second season I know all the characters are all grown up but they do something really amazing again with that. The whole plot is beautiful as are the lyrics, uh it's so good. Though I can't say I wasn't upset at the ending.

To all the people that want to watch this drama or are considering watching it: WATCH IT!! I(I give it a 1000/10 hehe) ( I have mentioned 2 parts that I did not like tho so yh) This honestly such a beautiful drama..The only drama were I watched the whole thing without skipping( and that speaks a lot cause there were barely an unwanted scenes/ dialogues and I barely watch any drama without skipping at the very least twice but with this I could do not do it)!!! The characters and the role the portray felt so real and emotional( THE CASTING WAS ON POINT!!)..The story is incredible and very comforting, that it actually became one of my comfort dramas! I cried heaps watching this, the songs( Vocals✨) were are so touching, not oddly placed and the meaning is personally very relatable and speaks to me. ALSO how can miss the production and filming, Bruh they did an AWESOME job on that. Honestly tho..The plot is just mind blowing good~the way everything turned out the way it turned out and that everything had reasons is very nice as there are no unwanted scenes !!...The message this drama conveys is again very beautiful! The only 2 parts that left me feeling empty was the ending, I want to know what happened to Il-dung and of-course Ryu Min-hyuk, it leaves an opening for a season 2 which prolly might not happen and the lack of more episodes( the six episodes were packed with only necessary stuff but still wish there was more since I wanted to see more of it)..But after this I will deffo be checking out the Original Webtoon. So yeah guys~ ANARA SUMANARA CAUSE THIS DRAMA MADE ME BELIEVE IN MAGIC

This series is really amazing. Tbh I can relate with the problems that the 3 main characters have. Same like The magician, I really scared to be an adult and always feel like I dont wanna grow up so I can still be a child who playing around. In the other hand, Same like na Ildeung, I also stresses up with the college life and really tired with my family who always make me underpressured to get a perfect score even though I dont like the subject that I take (which is my family forced me to take it ). Again, i can relate Yun Ai's problem where my family has a problem with our financial, so I have to work to covered it up. I literally always cry while watching this series. Thank you netflix and god job for Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, Hwang In Yeop and the other casts. Well I'm still hoping there is a season 2 of this :)
