Chae Songhwa is literally the cutest human. As much as I cringe at her vocals, I still look forward to her leading songs 😂 Honestly, I hope that we get a Run On-style series finale where they're performing for the entire cast who have gathered in one spot and we get Mido's vocals and not Songhwa's. The Song-hwa that we see today, with such 'angelic' voice and admirable confidence had a painful past which we didn't know until this episode showed us. Now that we witnessed Song-hwa's first heartbreak, it is also proven that she fell for him from the very beginning. It's just that the timing is wrong. From Season 1, the scene in the bar where Seok-hyeong and Ik-jun were sitting, it's Song-hwa's birthday, the same day that Seok-hyeong confessed his feelings for her, also the same day that Ik-jun will confess to Song-hwa. Little did he know she rejected Seok-hyeong, because he is the person that she's in love with. If only Ik-jun pushed a little bit of his feelings, I'm pretty sure that there's a lifetime that's waiting for them. Right person but wrong timing. Now in this episode, while they are running in the rain, which is one of her favorites, it is evident that she's still has feelings for Ik-jun, it's just that she's holding back or something is holding her back, the fact that he already confessed to her. There are only few episodes left, and the most thing that I am wishing and praying for is the endgame that all of us want. Ik-Song is there, just trust the process.

I had to watch it over again without listening to her voice to read the lyrics correctly.😅 So, Jeongwon told Songhwa that they could play any song, but she refused and insisted that she want that song.
