This is such a dilemma😭 ⚠️ SPOILER ALERT ⚠️ On Episode 1, her dad ask her not to meet or even talk to Taesul. And seohae said "what about mom? what if she dies?", her dad answer "we are all die in the end". So, her dad know what will happen to Seohae and Taesul. And instead of saving the world/his wife, he ask Seohae just to enjoy the life in the past which is 2020. BUT seohae still choose to save her loved ones: Taesul, her mom, and the world. and for that, the uploader must not be created. I mean, if she choose to save the world and her loved one.. doesn't that mean her love with Taesul will not happen in the first place?😭 no uploader and because of their gap also. Their love will happen only if they die.....like that......which means they failed to save the world😭😭😭😭😭😭 BUT I HOPE THIS IS ONLY HAPPEN INSIDE MY HEAD. The true theory of time travel is that no matter how much you change the past it will not affect the future where you came from, it will only create another time line. Time travel is a loop. So in the ending, the Drama HTS and Seo Hae died and disappeared (the one where we watched from episodes 1-16) in order for that time line to succeed and win where in no uploader was invented, no war, and Sigma was stopped. THAT PARTICULAR TIMELINE WON, Han Tae Sul died, young Seo Hae will have a happy life with her family complete. This will NOT AFFECT THE OTHER TIMELINES, this is just one since this is the only timeline we get to watch. The future where the Drama Seo Hae we watched is still the same wrecked future. Remember that in time theory, there are millions of possibility and they are never ending, it is infinite. Now the ending is a different timeline, HTS is still alive on that plane but now he is with KSH. A lot of people kept saying it was a hallucination, but it is not. She's real the difference with her and his brother as hallucination is that HTS never got to held his brother, his hallucination of them always disappear but in this scene he got to hold her hand which signifies that Kang Seo Hae is real. Which means Kang Seo Hae WENT BACK TO AN EARLIER TIMELINE instead of the one we originally got on the drama, in episode 1, which means she went back earlier and met him. Meanwhile why does HTS still knows her? Again, she went back earlier which made me realize that they have discussed of what happened during the previous timeline (the drama timeline)as well as it could be again because of the causal loop where he already have the memories of the other time line when he met the New Seo Hae from this new timeline in the ending. With Seo Hae going back earlier, and knowing who Sigma is they will have more time to stop him. In the end Sigma was shown being obsessed with HTS, and having the noted which means no matter what happen he will still turn into the villain of their story. With the knowledge, Seo Hae and Tae Sul have more time together to find and stop him as well as to spend it together and perhaps make this as the time line where they win against Sigma, no uploader will be invented, no war, their loved ones safe AND THEM FINALLY HAVING THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER THEY WANTED.

Like the story of Sisyphus from greek mythology, but unfortunately for Sisyphus the boulder always rolled back down even after he almost reached the top of the hill. I guees the one who made that endless loop is actually Sigma, because I see Sigma as Sisyphus who cheated dead repeatedly, they need something but always failed, so for that purpose they cheated death and go back again, that’s why they need to make sure TaeSeul build the uploader.

So the moment we see her found her corps it means she already on the loop, another example we can know it’s already a loop are when the bureau have note about the mission at chairman’s place would failed and yet they failed the mission again or when the officer who went back to give his mother her last ramyeon said “I’m sorry what I did to you. You must win from me to survive “ and yet we see him try to shoot her again. So maybe the story that we watch now is actually already happened multiple times. What we don’t know is who is the transparent person who tried to shoot TaeSeul at the convention, my guess it’s not Sigma because Sigma is the one who want TaeSeul make the uploader. This story is really interesting, it reminds me of dr. Strange vs Dormammu 🤣 when dr. Strange endlessly being killed by Dormammu in every different style on the loop that dr. Strange made, until Dormammu agreeed on the bargain, so maybe the loop could only be broken if something entirely different happened.

There is actually two time travel concept that have been applied to this scene "fixed point" and "grandfather's Paradox". Fixed point when even if you change anything things will always bound to happen which is why park shin hye saw those things since it's already part of her memory. Meaning what they experienced in the current time ( han tae sul still alive time) will also happen to her after she travel through time. The second is the grandfather's paradox which states that every thing that you do this to past will greatly affect the future(Your current time). It is a pretty complex concept so I will just explain this concept through this kdrama, so in the story park shin hye returned to past to change the future then she got killed together with han tae sul so she wrote the letters to park shin hye (Present) which is the reason why she returned then she got killed again which happens in a loop then she again send those letters to her graveyard knowing that park shin hye in that time(kid park shin hye ) will read it in the future since that was what happened to her. By combining the two concept it will result in looping of events which what basically happen in the drama. The title itself "sisyphus" is about the story of a king of Ephyra who got punished by gods in which he must roll the bolder in the top then the boulder will roll down every time he will be near the highest point. This story sysmbolises the concept of time travel in this drama which is the looping of events. So what basically happen is that han tae sul and kang seo hae will be successful at the end which result in their marriage then with the story of "sisyphus" being applied she will get killed by a sniper which is jung Hyung ki (The police man who have grudge against her because of the misunderstanding that she killed his mother) which was revealed in the past episodes by his future self. After her death han tae sul will be killed resulting of war which then lead to the future of korea being destroyed and will lead to kang seo hae being able to read the letter returning to the past which then lead to the looping of events. Time travel is a pretty complicated concept ( Except for the multiverse concept) so it's pretty hard to explain I hope you get what I want to convey hehe.

@@akiokoh7481 I already explain this but let me elaborate more. The title "Sisyphus" came from Homer’s Iliad, Book VI, Sisyphus. Which is about the king who got punished by a god by forcing him roll up a boulder uphill then the boulder will roll down every time the king will almost reach the point meaning whatever he do he won't entirely succeed since the bolder will eventually roll down which means he just keeps doing it without ending. Which is why I think the looping of events of the story was inspired by this book otherwise it won't make sense putting the title "Sisyphus" without any connection ^_^. So let me get back to my explanation about them being successful. As I said earlier Sisyphus is a story of eternal suffering by letting the king think that he succeeded then eventually bringing him down by rolling the boulder down again. Just like the story han tae sul manage to succeed in his goal which is to find his brother(TAKE NOTE: HE SAID IN PREVIOUS EPISODE THAT HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN AS LONG AS HE FOUND HIS BROTHER MEANING HIS GOAL FROM THE START WAS TO FIND HIS BROTHER. ) The proof that he succeeded was the photo of han tae sul and kang seo hae's marriage in tae san's brief case which states that he is the one taking the photo. In Kang seo's case her goal was to avoid war by convincing hang tae sul not to make the uploader and making him survive. So in order to do this they basically need to kill Sigma (WHICH IS "KIM BYUNG CHUL" BUT IF YOU SEARCH HIM IN THE DRAMA'S CAST HE IS NOT A SUPPORT ROLE BUT A GUEST CAST MEANING HE IS NOT THE MAIN ANTAGONIST). Sigma is the one who started this fucking complex drama but he is not the one who is the main antagonist of the story. The real enemy is the control bureau which they think has a little threat since their purpose is to keep the peace but since park shin hye wasn't from their world from the start it will always ends up to them killing her which as I explained earlier is jung hyung ki (THE POLICE OFFICER WHO HAS GRUDGE OF PARK SHIN HYE) that is revealed in the previous episode by his future self that he shot her. After her death han tae sul probably got frustrated which leads him in making the uploader in order to for him to turn back in time to save park shin hye and as you know this uploader is a big NO NO for the bureau which leads them to killing him which lead to a war which lead to the time looping which leads for the "SISYPHUS" story to connect to the plot. In other words eternal suffering that even if they will try to prevent what will happen it will always and always bound to happen (FIXED POINT CONCEPT). About the letter what park shin hye saw was her getting killed in the end and not the killer so she doesn't know who killed her. Next in the letter she said to protect han tae sul which always leads to her sacrificing herself and not the other way around. In the letter She only said that in order to stop the war han tan sul must survive and not the way he is killed meaning she still doesn't know how he got killed and how the war started since she died first leading to her not be able to protect han tae sul. Meaning they technically succeeded in their goal ( HAN TAE SUL TO FIND HIS BROTHER AND PARK SHIN HYE TO PROTECT HAN TAE SUL AND AVOID THE WAR) little did they know it wasn't the endgame which leads them to suffer. This is just my speculations based on the current episodes, background of the title and time travel concepts. This is a drama and we won't actually know what will happen so it's pretty hard to predict, maybe I am wrong maybe I am right but let's just see till the end and enjoy the plot.

What a wonderful actress Park Shin Hye is teamed with handsome Cho Seung Woo they were incredible together All her action scenes were mindblowing and Cho ,who joined her after filming SECRET GARDEN teased them as NUTS This scene was so poignant seeing both of their skeletons, finding her diary PLEASE SAVE THE MAN I LOVE The camaraderie between them was electric and they helped each other during difficult emotional scenes, especially when she cried, he had so much admiration for her During their final emotional scenes Cho fought tears both comforting eah other BTS they always were mischievously pranking each other causing Shin Hye to hilariously laughter Despite Cho being a GLOBAL Star of stage and singer he always remained shy,humble and brought fun to the ser They deserve every accolades and awards for their amazing performances AND JTBC DESERVE A MEDAL FOR TEAMING THESE TWO TOGETHER THIS IS A MUST WATCH I CAN'T LET IT GO.❤❤❤❤❤

I still believe the final episode reunited Han Tae Sul and Seo Hae IN THE FUTURE after Bosan gave Hun tae Sul gis ashes in a tin to open when he runs out of options Series 2 PLEASE ❤❤❤
