One thing Britain didn’t have was racial ghettos and segregation, so interracial dating was far more normalised and common. Ever since the Black Romans arrived in 400AD. While the USA didn’t everything keep black and white people apart, especially white women and black men. Not even Nazi Germany made interracial relationships illegal but the it was illegal in the USA until the 1950s.
@scribe71215 күн бұрын
Not enough Black people in Britain to need those things. Britain is a very racist country according to the Black people who actually live there. So don't try to make it sound like it's better than it is.
@Delboy015 күн бұрын
@ Britain is no Utopia but it doesn’t have that aggressive open targeted systematic racism of the USA. You don’t have mainstream parties trying to destroy black communities like the USA, so it is a lot better than the USA. British racism is more undercover and covert and more about stereotyping and white bias, which means less opportunities for Black people in the UK, but black people in the UK have better access to a great education. Redlining never happened in the UK and because there was no segregation and working class white people tended to work, live and date in the same communities, there was less of a them and us racial tension you get in the USA. Some of the blackest neighbourhoods in London are still about 50% white populations. The issue in the UK is more class mobility that is a race and class issue in the UK, beyond this the UK is way ahead of the USA. The UK is no where near the racism levels of the USA, it just because USA is a less class based society, that black people have more opportunity.

@@Delboy0 hit dogs holler. You wrote a book trying to defend your ignorant comment.
@Delboy015 күн бұрын
@@romishafranks I know Americans don’t like reading, but you need a book to explain why the UK is nowhere near as racist as America by a long way. Have you forgot that USA will have a white supremacist President, who has a white nationalist administration with policies that will, hurt people of colour and the majority of people were happy to vote for USA is the most racist country in the western world.

You go where God sends you, to whomever he has given you, into whatever calling/career he has prepared you for because he knows what you need. However, the devil is always waiting with all your desires and selfish wants. Remember man divided man. We answer to one God and there are no races in Heaven nor Hell. Scripture says the dead know nothing so the living need to focus their time on God and not carnal issues. If Christ says we are one body then why listen to people who divide?
@manyenaa63017 күн бұрын
Are you talking about the same Umar who has STOLEN thousands of dollars that Black people donated to his non-existent school??? The same Umar who LIED about being a descendant of Frederick Douglass, until the true Douglass descendants stated he's not related to them! I guess Umar forgot that in 1884 Frederick Douglass married his 2nd wife, Helen Pitts, & she was WHITE! Maybe you are referring to the Umar who at the very least dated Sukihana. Begin reading & educate yourself & attain deductive reasoning to avoid being bamboozled by charlatans like Umar!

It’s excruciating for me to watch an interview whenever Natalie Morales is involved. She doesn’t shut up. She just can’t seem to listen and she has to take the spotlight away from her cohost. She was completely unnecessary in this segment. Big Ak had it in the bag and he had more in common with this couple than Natalie ever will, so they should’ve just left her backstage. As a matter fact, they should just fire her because ever since she joined the Talk, it’s just been horrendous to watch. Whenever she’s off for the day, that’s when I can watch The Talk.
