What does linking concepts mean? If possible can you give an example as well please.

Of course :-) so labelling is based on the ideal pupil. The ideal pupils is middle class due to how they speak/act. Working class are far from the ideal so teachers have a lower expectation of them. This leads to a self fulfilling prophecy of underachievement. Here I linked labelling, ideal pupil and self fulfilling prophecy. :-)
