Lumia devices are badly supported when it comes to store.but we people are here to support it.help it get up.. Lumia 950 is a good phone and it is original with its special OS whereas android is kinda virtual box os.. Every device run android.. But these phones specially made for these OS.just like the iOS9 ..while ios is greatly supported..windows mobile is not..but time by time all aps will also be built for this phone in a sufficient way.at least i believe..(sorry for grammatical mistks)

Great comparison Tom. I'm excited to see your full review of both devices. I do have a Note 5 but I'm curious about the performance of those windows devices. I do prefer their interface than Apple's iOS and Samsung's touchwiz. Anyway Tom I think it's a matter of preference when it comes to choosing between those two but that extra split second of lag from the 950 might have a profound effect in a long term use. haha.

+clevs_is_me Not sure exactly what you mean but my average use where it would go from 100% (8am) to ~25% (9pm), screen-on time was about 3-4 hours

still have a 1020 and 1520 and was somewhat thinking about a 950 over the years. i think im gonna get a cheap one they are about 100 bux brand new right now. i am surprised though my 1520 scores about the same as these do on antutu benchmark. but the 950s have much better storage write speed. the read speed on my 1520 is the same as the 950 so i think some things have been reused between the platforms. and its hard to improve on the 1520 honestly so im glad they solved the minor complaints i had. better memory removable battery and a better processor. not really more powerful but better.
