This is one of the most helpful reviews I’ve been able to find on the zeppelin! Thank you! Looking to purchase very soon, I’ll use your link.

I have been waiting for this review and it did not disappoint. This looks like a great and well thought out system.

Just bought the Zeppelin and it hasn't arrived yet. Your video was the most informative I've seen and as a prospective purchase, Ive tried to see them all....Thank you for all the information...I should add that I had one of those bananas (always felt like my butt was inches lower than the rest of the boat...)and Im looking forward to having the drop stitch floor and seat..

How has the Bote after 2 years of use? Has it weathered well?
@teslafudge15853 жыл бұрын
This is the Sunday vibe right here. Once they combine this with propulsion similar to Hobie Mirage drive, we will have a winner. Costco seasonally sells something similar for $350ish, but it has all the deep seat issues you mentioned. Inflation is just as good.
@TheTechofTech3 жыл бұрын
They actually have pedal propulsion available. It's just for a different kayak that is built around it. The kayak is called the Lono, and you can buy the pedal drive system separately: bit.ly/3ImOCsn

I just ordered one of these. Wish mine had the rolling bag. Mine doesn’t have wheels. As a 70 year old it’s hard to manage the bag.

id like see how well it does going faster, how well it tracks.

when you got the bote out of water did you notice the large amount of water in the base? Isnt that counterproductive to kayaking and not to mention the effort needed to get that water out after you are done kayaking
@TheTechofTech2 жыл бұрын
When you're sitting in it, you're pressing the floor and subfloor together. I think most of that water enters as you're pulling the boat *out* of the water. The width is a much bigger factor in having to push it through the water. Getting the water out is pretty easy, too. It just pours out of the holes as you deflate the floor. When you get home, you will want to pull the floor out and let everything dry separately anyway.

what fixture do you use for attaching your gopro to the bow (or stern)? We just bout a Zeppelin!

Looks very stable. Great review. Can you adjust how inflated you want the base of the seat? I wanted a very stable sea kayak, this seems to fit the bill but I’d prefer a lower seat (although you’d need a 250cm wide paddle then due to the width of the kayak). Did you try it on the sea already?
@TheTechofTech2 жыл бұрын
You can vary the inflation of the seat, but not enough to affect its height without making it way too soft. I do not have easy access to ocean and have no intention of using it for that. There is a channel that shows these in use in Hawaii, though I don’t remember the channel name.
@TheKayakCrew2 жыл бұрын
@@TheTechofTech thanks, I did check out the videos in Hawaii you referred to but they don't show that much of the kayak. Looks wide and stable although the 2 side pontoons look pretty low. Its not the lightest kayak either, do you manage to carry it ok or do you have to use the roller bag?
@TheTechofTech2 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty fit and strong for nearly 52. I can carry it inflated to the water, but I do use the rolling bag to get it to and from where I inflate it. The wheels actually do pretty well in dirt and gravel and grass, so I haven't had an issue.

I got the same pump on Amazon under a different brand name for less than half. Love the pump, for sure.

My Costco had this for $499. Good at that price, but not worth 1200
@bobocrina26432 жыл бұрын
at costco is 699. I know you got it for free and keep insisting on a good price as thier 1200 but not worth it. @ 500 to 700 maybe.

Sounds more like the solo 10 ft price range for that price. No way it's the 12.5 ft...
