Bissell Power Force. THIS !!! or Garbage Repair is too expensive

The motor was grinding under stress, to much movement in the motor shaft,
Brush bar was bent
As you hear in the video after there was no more stress on the motor ,it sounded ok
I did this to get a little more use out of this vacuum .
When repairing your vacuum keep in mind that this fix that I did

I'm glad to have found your channel I've recently gotten into vacuum repair. I work as a janitor and we have a Bissell Powerforce Helix model 1710 the first thing I did was replace the belt. But I didn't realize the brushroll didn't roll anymore until I was vacuuming some rugs this morning and the belt burned a bit. I tracked down a new brushroll on ebay and am currently waiting for it I'm pretty excited to do this repair.

The bottom hose you disconnected it wrong you were sappost to remove the screw that is there and that's how you take it off

Not so fast its not because its the motor its the brushroll is making that noise

In this case he made a good decision the moter sounds like shit and brush was not fixable

How was it too expensive all you had to do was replace the belt oil the brush roll bearings clean out the thing and then you got a whole good vacuum

thanks for the comment... the motor bearings are worn out as the shaft has to much movement as you hear in my video (too much stress on the motor) also the brush bar was dent a bit.
