I highly recommend a vid on "The Thousand Sons" from the Warhammer 40k universe. Mainly before their fall during the Horus Heresy. Imagine superhuman soldiers like Master Chief who could also wield psychic powers and sorcery, the 5 different cults to train each specialty of powers, demonic familiars, a powerful leader, a terrifying genetic defect. Trust me their lore is some of the best in Warhammer 40k.
