Hey! So this evening I took your recommendation of layering Nest vanilla with Born and Roma! Listen! I am in love! Definitely changed the game!!! I walked by my daughter and about a minute later she said, “Mommy! girlllll you smell good!” Then she proceeds to ask me what do I have on as if she needs it in her life. Mind you she is 7! Lol. Also, I actually mixed the nest vanilla oil into my eucerin lotion and that really is my favorite way to use my perfume oils. Thanks for the video!

Side note: some of those older fragrances still got it. I recently bought first Chopard fragrance called Cašmir. This one debuted in '92. It's a lovely amber, vanilla fragrance I absolutely love. The bottle is also classic and makes me feel real grown (mind you I'll 36 this year 🤭)

Update: So I bought Valentino “Donna born in Roma.” I didn’t like it initially when I first sprayed it, but a couple of hrs after I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. Lol! I absolutely love it. I was disappointed with Margiela’s “By the Fireplace,” it didn’t even last 15min on my skin. Maybe I became nose blind to it, but I thought it didn’t project at all. So I’m taking it back and trying the Madagascar oil instead. I like the idea of your combo suggestion. I can see myself wearing the just the oil during the day and pairing it w/ Valentino for nights. Those Nest oils are amazing! I use the rose oil and then spray the Chanel Chance Eau Tendre…it’s so good! I use the Nest Jasmine oil and then spray Mojave Ghost.

Watching you was giving me Classy Lisa Turtle vibes, but then it hit me... Janet Jackson. If Lisa Turtle and Janet Jackson had a middle sister, it would be @The Tessa Stewart. 💜 Edit to say: I've never heard of anyone else doing this before this video, but I use 100% pure shea butter every day (I have psoriasis and very sensitive skin, shea butter has saved my soul!), all over, including my face as shea butter has never caused me to break out, and then layer my perfume on top of that. I spray it right after applying the butter, wait 10 mins or so and give another touch up before leaving, just to be sure. ;) Infact, I did a hair mask last night and used quality unpasteurized honey and water, massaged it in, then when that dried, added a bit more water and topped with some quality oil and then pure shea butter. Combed it through and wrapped it in a towel for the night. Thought I might regret that, but rinsed it out today in a salt bath, shampoo'd and rinsed really well twice and conditioned as usual and my hair is so frigging soft and shiny now! Highly recommended it! But I read it can lighten your hair, so anyone with darker hair, Google to see how long you should leave the honey mask in for. My hair is lighter naturally and I didn't notice it is any lighter now, but it would be a shame to ruin your hair while trying to give it some extra love. Pretty sure I read you can still use it but just don't leave it on for long and certainly not overnight like I did. Hope this message finds someone who is looking to give some love to their scalp and hair. My head truly feels like a fresh miracle right now and I just needed to share that lol

@@TheTessaStewart i love it so much, it's a game changer for sure. It's better than any other lotion or cream I've ever used and will use it till I die! I used to whip it in my hands with the other stuff I'd get from the Jamaicans, I think it was a much better quality than the stuff I get now from Walmart that does not whip up in my hands and is sometimes gritty lol I'd then add essential oils and it was heavenly! I'd love to make my own whipped shea butter concoction using essential oils etc just never find the time. Lisa Turtle was my favourite too!!!! 😍 and you so have her energy!! 🥰

I LOVE the original Marc Jacob’s Daisy. I wore that so much when it came out. Haven’t owned the intense version of Light Blue but I love the smell and I keep hearing great things. I wanna try Light Blue Forever next. I smelled Baccarat, but it doesn’t smell good on me. Smells way more mature that it should. Lol Thanks for the suggestions, gorgeous!

If you’re referring to Chanel Chanel Eau Tendre, I would layer that with the matching body cream for longevity or with an inspired fragrance oil. I personally love the way it smells as is and don’t like to alter it. If you’re referring to the original Chanel Chance, I’m not sure.

Can I ask, is it ok if you use a scented shea butter to layer? I usually use shea butter on my body. It is a whipped shea with a scent. Should I avoid that? Or can I use it?

Yes, mine is scented, too. You can def use that! Just be mindful of how the scents mix together. If the shea butter is heavily scented, it may alter the fragrance you spray on top, but I haven’t had that happen to me yet. The fragrance in the shea usually fades fast and all I smell is the perfume.
