This message was preached the day AFTER Donald J. Trump was elected president of the United States back in 2016. Kendrick Lamar's 'Alright' was also the inspiration behind this wonderful message. Much like now, back then there was much uncertainty and fear as to the direction of the nation but also, the plight of the African American Community. Dr. Haynes masterfully reminds us in this message in spite of what we may endure politically, spiritually, or even in life's hardest moments, there is more for us than against us. We WILL be alright!
