I'll never forget the first one in my life!! It was such a great feeling after getting close when we had Rodman then we fell apart. Robinson got hurt we got the #1 and the rest is history. Now 23 years later we got the #1 again with Wembanyana on the board. So excited to see we're this team goes in the future

Poor NY, they played their hearts out. They were the first 8 to reach the Finals. Sprewell is even quicker and more lithe and athletic than I remembered. Plus he had hops and stamina for days. But the Knicks lost Ewing in the ECF, Larry Johnson was injured injured then as well and only had limited mobility in the Finals. Plus no one to counter Duncan and Robinson aka the Twin Towers. Even then, the series was decided by a 1 point game.

That 1999 NBA season was shorten because of the strike.I remember my friends brother in law said that the Utah Jazz was going to win it all.Man was he wrong.San Antonio Spurs got hot towards the end of the season getting the number 1 seed in the 99 playoffs.This was the Spurs first title in its history I think.Sprewell had a hell of a series but he couldn't do everything by himself.Duncan and Robinson were just to tough for the Knicks.Congrats to the Spurs 💍

I knew the Spurs were going to win a title one day.Jordan retired and the Bulls were not really contenders anymore so the door opened for a non Chicago Bulls NBA finals.The Spurs got beat in the 1994-95 season.They were the 1 seed in thier western conference that year.Thats okay the Spurs won 5 championships from 1999-2014
