I love Moiseyev Ballet. My first was Day on the Ship and I never looked back. It remains my favorite.

This is a professional ballet with elements of folk dance. Only the most talented people are lucky to get there for a dancer.

lol saying that they like like Riverdance is kinda funny, because thee guys - I mean Moiseyev dance company - were found in 1937 - so they are around for almost 85 years , while riverdance is basically a toddler in comparison :) Its like saying that Frank SInatra is singing like Mickael Buble :)

Riverdance is relatively young, but Irish dance itself has a much longer history.

Moiseev is the best dance ensemble in the world. Much better than Riverdance.

@@SammyOneThumb oh, thank you so much for your reply! If you want to make another reaction video- have you seen this ballet from the same group? The story from about min 22.00 is about witches and evil spirits who are having a crazy party at midnight on a mountain. The Moiseyev ensemble is the only group who is physically able to dance this choreography, it’s crazy and a lot of fun.

I would recommend the soldiers' dance by the alexandrov ensemble if you liked this, it's basically a dance battle between two groups and includes a lot of traditional moves. It's from 1965 if I recall correctly.

Чтобы так с легкостью исполнить весь танец, с такими элементами, требуется мощная физподготвка. Очень много времени на разучивание, потом отработку синхронизации движений. А если кто лажает, то отжимаются :)

Для получения практики хождения по разным морям и, в разных широтах, а так же для приобретения боевого опыта, русские моряки СИСТЕМНО поступали на службу в иностранные флоты и, таким образом всегда находились в боевом состоянии... В матросском танце русских моряков можно увидеть элементы французских боевых искуств, очень плпулярных в Российском флоте и, движентя ног ирландских танцев...
