I just realised why I really like Lego city undercover and not the other Lego games that much. Other than the amazing level design and great open world, instead of switching between characters and relocating them, you just have one character that can change its abilities. I’ve only played 5 other Lego games, are there any others with the same 1-character feature

No, I think you just have to perform the glitch. Just stand on the edge of a ledge and gently fall into the water, then wait for the text asking you to teleport back to land. Hold a to teleport back to land and if you did it right it will land you in the water and the glitch will work!
