JD Vance is absolutely excelling in his role right now. Trump showed great foresight in choosing Vance who was relatively unproven at the time. From what I've observed JD is highly intelligent and insightful, yet he deeply connects with working- and middle-class Americans. His upbringing was far from easy, his mother struggled with addiction and his grandmother who raised him, barely had enough to get by. Despite these challenges he rose to great success which I find inspiring. This stands in contrast to Trump’s own privileged upbringing but that difference works to their advantage. Their contrasting backgrounds kinda creates a synergistic dynamic and Trump has already proven his leadership as president anyway.
