This was what my pregnancy was like! My condition and concerns were different. However we were fully expecting a c-section after being induced as well and then my water broke at 38 weeks and I delivered normally! It was crazy and awesome! My little guy is about to turn 1!
@vickislattery92345 жыл бұрын
Great video! I was in a similar situation with my second. He turned to breech at 37 weeks and I was scheduled for a C-Section. The morning of the surgery he turned back and I was induced and had him naturally that night! I researched c-sections and got myself as prepared as possible. You are definitely way better off not having the surgery. You will bounce back much quicker! Best of luck to you guys!!!!!

I really hope you both take it easy when the baby comes. We all completely love home vlogs and will definitely welcome many more. Please dont feel like you need to leave Jenn home alone with the baby multiple times a week just to put out a theme park vlog. I know I speak for many when I say home vlogs are a favorite! I hope you have a smooth birth and you recover quickly.
I agree with this as well! Don’t feel pressured to have to make a ton of content in general when the baby finally gets here. We’re all understanding if you need time to recover and relax. Love you guys and I’m hoping for the best!

Just a bit of old mama wisdom for you. Passed down to me from my mom. She said, "It's the hardest pain you will feel and the easiest forgotten. " This is so true. You think you know how much you will love this child while you carry it but you have no idea. You think you couldn't love more but trust me you can. It will overwhelm you at times. You will also find out you love your partner more and more as their love for your child grows. I send you prayers and blessings for a safe and easy birth. I send you prayers and blessings for a wonderful life on your new journey.

Literally never been more excited for a couple I’ve never met to have their baby! Would just like to say there is absolutely no rulebook for the incredible journey of parenthood you’re about to embark on. Many will want to give you advice on what and how to do stuff which is lovely, but please remember they are only suggestions and not everything that people say works for them will work for you. Get yourselves into routines that work best for you and enjoy every second of the whirlwind that will hit you the moment you hear those first cries as it’s really true what they say - time does fly. Sending love from the UK.x

Hi, Tim and Jenn! Florida girl, here! I’ve been loving all your baby updates! I watched them over the course of my second pregnancy. I’ve been wanting to comment but haven’t until now. My first was an emergency c-section. My water actually broke on Labor Day weekend of all weekends lol! My daughter came at 38 weeks and I didn’t think to have my bag packed yet...(I definitely learned something after that haha). My husband and I just had our second on 9/30/19. She had to be born at 37 weeks and I had to have another c-section. Shortly after she was born, we found out she wasn’t breathing right and she had to be taken to the NICU and then flown via helicopter the next day to St. Josphe’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa for open heart surgery as her large artery grew in the wrong place and had to be relocated. Sounds crazy...I know, and it was. Your videos helped keep me sane and something to look forward to while my husband and I spent 10 days in Tampa while our daughter recovered. It was a whirlwind of an experience, but we’re all home now and all is well! Our daughter is expected to live a fully normal life with no problems. Thank you so much for sharing your birth journey with us, as it’s just so special. Jenn, you’re going to do great! And I can totally see how excited and ready Tim is to be a Dad! Our first daughter is 3 and we’ve had so much fun with her taking her to Disney every year (we started at 2mo!) and experience all the firsts. It’s going to be great! Hopefully one day we’ll run into you guys there, perhaps at one of the charging stations with our electric car! Take care! Grace

I've had both "typical" deliveries and a csection and they were both good for their own reasons. The recovery with a typical birth is much much easier, but I found I almost enjoyed my section birth experience more...not being in this insane pain, I was able to really enjoy and soak in my sons delivery. But there's also so something special about that moment of relief when the baby is laid on your chest during a normal delivery. They're both amazing in their own way..I got back and forth about which method I'd choose if we had another baby. It'll be perfect no matter what happens because your wee babe will be here!

Labor can be intimidating, absolutely! The best advice I ever received was to stay in the moment, breathe out heavily on each contraction as it comes. If you try to think about time, how much longer or the pains to come, you will be overwhelmed. All that will take care of itself in its time, your time is now and that’s what you need to focus on. Breath is your best friend. Focus on that and it will get you through! 💕💕💕 you guys are so strong ! And in the end, what a gift you will be given! Labor is only a moment in our lives and the rest is so bright and wonderful!

Labor is such a beautiful experience. Definitely take an epidural if that’s what you want, it’ll allow you to really enjoy the last part of the journey into motherhood. You’ll be able to rest if your labor is long and be more alert when your baby comes. But if you’re able to do it with no pain meds, that’s absolutely amazing! as a nursing student currently doing my post-partum/maternity rotation my biggest tip is to make sure you talk to your OB about your care plan in advance, especially that regarding episiotomies more so just because there are times OB’s may perform them in the heat of the moment before consulting the patients and making sure that you’re informed on the possibility of one or even educating yourself on vaginal tears is so important ! I wish you a wonderful delivery and a beautiful healthy baby

Never said when, and then my OB called me and said “how about tomorrow” and that was the craziest feeling I’ve ever felt. I got induced at 38 weeks. That’s great news about the partial previa correcting itself! It’s definitely a big mind shift to go from preparing for a scheduled c-section to labor. Don’t be scared of being induced. I was induced both times and didn’t end up with a c-section. It’s not a guarantee. It can make contractions more intense and close together so it was exhausting but getting and moving (when I was allowed to) made the biggest difference. Laying back in bed was what made the contractions painful; getting up and moving helps a lot. Good luck and please take time to rest and recover and bond. Every new mom needs a maternity leave. We will be here! We aren’t going anywhere!

Regular birth has a shorter recovery time for most ladies.

I still couldn't stand up straight a week after my section xD even after the 6 weeks recovery time i was still struggling to move normally, needing help to get up and stuff. People call it the easy way out but it really isnt. I hope and wish for a regular birth this time round so I'm back on my feet quicker and not having to rely on other people to pass me my baby when they cry

I agree! I gave birth naturally in January and was walking around getting my stuff out the car next day, where as my friend who had C-section was off her feet for weeks x

Idk if my body is just really good at recovering but I’ve had two c sections and I find as long as you use a binder, you can pretty much go back to normal activities. Also my second time I did my really have a choice because my husband was staying with our daughter who got admitted to the hospital as well so I had to go home alone with the baby

@@CCrispyyy I didnt even know what a binder was until it was too late lol. They're not really around in the uk.

I had both. normal birth i was oke afther 1 - 1,5 weeks. With the c-section it took me 3 weeks to do some easy stuf, but took 6 weeks to recover, and had backpains till like 5 months if i walked long times.

Always in my thoughts and prayers both of you! I actually prayed for a ‘trad’ birth over a C section for you Jen, really pleased for you! You guys are gonna be a super mom and dad to this little bundle of joy! Trying to hold back the tears, couldn’t be more happy for both of you! All my love xxxx

Like the two of you ....we didn’t get pregnant until we was married over 7 years....I had to fall 5 feet off a ladder landing on my back and break my pinky! This threw my uterus into position and ...walla...I got pregnant....didn’t know I had an issue!! Our first son was born 2 months shy of our 8th wedding anniversary...2.5 years latter our 2nd son came along weighing in exactly 2lbs more than our first! They are now 33 and soon to be 31 years young! Hoping your pregnancy goes well and your birthing process is short and painless....and remember....love it all and always expect the unexpected...lots of laughter with the tears in years to come!
