Our Complete Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party Experience At Disney California Adventure!

In today's vlog we head into Disney California Adventure for the Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party! Thank you to Disney for inviting us to attend this special event! We started the night with a quick look at the media preview area where we saw some of the event treats and met Mickey Mouse dressed in his vampire Halloween costume. Then we head into the park to watch Mickey's Trick & Treat show, it's more of a Disney Junior style show but it was very cute, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy came out on stage and sang and danced and told a spooky story. Then we head into the first of many treat trails. The trails a different here than in Florida because there are characters in most of the treat trails, we loved this idea!! We saw Oogie Boogie, Dr. Facilier, The Evil Queen and Maleficent, it was really cool to see them talking and interacting with guests as we went through the trail! I hope we Disney World does something like this at future Halloween Parties! Then it's time to head over to watch the Frightfully Fun Parade, this was the same parade that was at the Disneyland Halloween Party in years passed but we loved it just the same. It's a shorter parade but the floats and the characters are the best!! The soundtrack is one of our favorites. We watched the new World of Color Villainous! show, it had a cute storyline all about how it's okay to be yourself even if it's not the popular choice, we liked it but it wouldn't be a repeat watch for us if we went to another party. We ended the night with a walk through Villains Grove, which was DIsney's take on a haunted trail, it was the highlight of the night for us. I don't think it translated as well into video as it did in real life but it was seriously so amazing! We hope to see more things like this in Orlando during Halloween, we loved it! More locals at Disneyland makes it easier for people to dress up. We are headed to Disney World in a couple weeks from Kansas and are just wearing tshirts. So much to pack already for a family of 4, adding big costumes just takes up lots of luggage space and space in the hotel. Or maybe I'm just a lazy mom. Thanks for posting all your videos, we love spending down time watching them instead of regular tv. Sure helps the cable bill!
