Tim, A Christmas Story isn't all about guns. You're missing the point! That part of the film is about how we want things sometimes that might not be good for us, we get it and it doesn't go very well. However we learn from our mistakes, we're redeemed and we move forward.

I was able to meet Tim at IAAPA last year. Jenn was not there and I was a mess. I was very grateful for the Trackers and had lost my Michael in 2021. The Trackers got us through the pandemic and then some. I was unable to let Tim know that Michael and I would communicate through a Jackson thumbs up ☝🏻 when everything was good. It was very heartwarming when Oliver did the☝🏻 thumbs up and Jenn explained how Jackson used to do the ☝🏻 too. Thank you as the holidays are very tough for me and this brought some joy to my life. Best holiday wishes to the Tracker Family!

Mince pies are a very old Christmas baking tradition in the UK, they originally had spiced ground meat in them during medieval and tudor times. Much later on the filling was changed to the spiced dried fruits filling we have today simply because it's more delicious than sweetened and spiced ground meat.

@andrewpinks492514 сағат бұрын
Jen, originally mincemeat did contain “meat” (traditionally beef or venison), but by late Victorian era the meat was gone and the only remnant was beef suet. These days the beef suet in commercial mince pies is now replaced with a vegetarian alternative. BTW, the mix of meat with dried fruits and spices preserved the meat before the days of fridges etc and was more palatable than salted or dried meat.

As a kid we watched Muppets Christmas Carol, the Dudley Moore Santa Claus movie, Father Christmas and The Snowman and I watch them with my own kids now but my kids added Home Alone to our "Christmas films" too. There's The Polar Express, Arthur Christmas and Rise of the Guardians now. Klaus on Netflix is good. We also watched Look Who's Talking Now as kids but I don't think all parents would find that appropriate? 😆

So, unfortunately, guys, God blessed me with endometriosis instead of babies, and when I start thinking in absolutes with words like never and forever, I get a little teary-eyed. Being able to see ur boys' excitement and their Santa experience is so much fun and makes me happy inside seeing that Christmas spirit alive and well through the eyes of the kids. I'm 40 years old this year and very grateful to have a spot to watch ur guys' holiday celebration and feel like I'm part of something. Sometimes, I don't realize how much my heart longs for something until I experience it in real time. Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of ur special day and all the other days u post. I'm always excited to see a Tracker family video pop up in my notifications! ✌️💜 Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❄️☃️

A mince pie is a sweet pie that originated in England and is traditionally served during the Christmas season. The filling is made from mincemeat, which is a combination of fruit, spices, and suet. Mince pies can be traced back to the Middle Ages, when they were known as "Christmas pies" and were filled with minced meat, fruits, and spices. The pies were often shaped like a manger to symbolize the birth of Jesus. 🎄

My kids (8 and 3) really love The Grinch animated movie from 2018, it’s pretty cute. I let my 8 year old watch Home Alone this year and he LOVED it but even some of the stuff in there I was like 😬.
Highly highly recommending the Arthur Christmas special (I think it's called Arthur's Perfect Christmas). You don't need to be too familiar with the TV show Arthur because it does a great job of introducing the characters and their backgrounds. Talks about a variety of holiday traditions, family backgrounds and as far as I can remember anything that might be sad has a positive resolution pretty quickly. Warning though: you might have the Tina the Talking Turkey song stuck in your head for a bit.
