Disney Staycation Check Out Day, EPCOT Ride Fun & Our Review Of The Art Of Animation Resort!

In today’s vlog we check out of our Disney Art of Animation Resort room and we were so sad to be leaving! We pack up and take everything to the car but on the way we have a look at the Ink and Paint gift shop. We found some really cool Art of Animation merchandise also! Then we head to EPCOT to ride a couple rides and eat some lunch. We started with a ride on the Seas With Nemo & Friends attraction, then we head over to the Land pavilion to ride Living With the Land and have have some lunch at Sunshine Seasons. On our way to the front of the park we head to Mouse Gear to check out some new Summer merch. It was so cute! Afterwards, we head home and give our thoughts and review of the Art of Animation and we talk about our favorite things about the resort! Have you stayed here, what did you think? I love when Jen finds something she likes and wants to buy when at the parks. It always reminds me of how my mom and I shop. She gets just as excited as my Mom and says similar things. It's especially noticeable because you guys are always showing us what is for sale and there is a clear difference between the way Jen talks about stuff she thinks is cool and the way she talks about stuff she's buying. 😂😂👍❤️

We stayed at Pop recently and wanted to go to Art of Animation for dinner one night, but when we looked both Pop and Art had the exact same menu for the restaurants. There’s very small changes but for the most part they are exactly the same.

Watching Jackson melts my heart, he reminds me of my son. I started taking Toby when he was 3 and this year he will be 18. Time goes so fast, enjoy every moment. This year we will be visiting in November celebrating Toby's graduation and my 50th birthday. Big year for us. We stay at Pop Century and love it. The food at pop is very good and they have a good variety. They did cut down a little because of covid but still a good selection of food.

My husband and son would always say that , and sure enough fall asleep while my daughter and I enjoyed the show. Memories! Now it is just the two of us, and yes, still naps at the sit down theaters. 😂

The Nemo room is way louder than the others because it’s right by the main pool and everyone has to walk by there, cars and lion king aren’t that much further and way more quiet! The only con with lion king is that there is no dedicated pool, but I think Jackson would LOVE the cars suite!!!!!!!

We were there the week of Mother’s Day which was also my wife’s 50th bday (and her 1st Mother’s Day without her mom) so I treated her to that entire outdoor dining set you looked at in Mousegears. And the throw pillow. We love it all!

Theming of AoA is so great. We stayed in the Mermaid rooms. Those were a little cheesy but we didn’t mind the walk to and from the bus because it was so nice to enjoy all the outdoor theming. Even the plants match each section!

There is nothing more peaceful than floating on your back in Big Blue with your ears underwater listening to Disney classics! I’d like to suggest that they pipe the music into the resort bathtubs also but I don’t think that they will, lol!
