I felt you when you said you had never had a good Valentines day. It's only another day. Life gives us 'ups & downs'. We all meet for a reason. Thankyou for uploading your videos. They keep me smiling, I love your giggles. Keep at 'em !

I just recently found you & I love the way you teach. I am so glad that you don't speed up the video. I stay through the entire video because I learn so much better when I stay through the end. Thank you for what you do.

Hi Cyndee. I am an all the way to the end watcher. I’m very new and your videos were highly recommended, and when I found the 100 Days of Zentangle I was on the right track! I have started at one and will work my way thru. And though I am here to learn the tangles (just finished 15) I have found your voice to be very soothing and relaxing. You have a rare gift there. I really enjoy listening to you talk about your life; you have many life events to which I can relate. I find it comforting. I told my counselor about Zentangle and your videos and so she ordered some supplies and got going and at our last appointment she told me how amazed she was about how relaxing tangling is and she’s completely sold. I’m trying to talk her into getting an Instagram account so she can see how much beautiful works are being created al the time. I believe she was also going to check out your videos and I strongly encouraged that, so we’ll see. Anyway, I want to thank you for making these videos, and sharing your art and your life with us.

Carla Jo from Michigan here. I watch to the end, the first time to see what I am aiming for. The second time when I draw along, I may not watch totally to the end.

Just letting you know I usually watch a little earlier in the day, but at night when the house is quiet I tangle along with you all the way to the end. Love you. Not in a word way. Lol

Coming to you today from California! This one reminded me of a seashell, I'm tempted to re-do it on a blue background. We'll see if that happens. Having fun tangling along with you :)

You made my day. I would like to introduce you to a book written by Kenny Werner. You are the first CZT who mentioned the breathing aspect (like it is done in an instruction book for zentangle beginners). I have always thaught zentangle to be rather a meditation with a beautiful side effect in a piece of artwork. I recently found, that I have frequently slipped out of the my meditative state of min., and try to pause for 1-3 breaths when I catch myself doing this to myself- thus end up doodeling. I'm establishing meditative practicing at my piano, which seems work pretty well. Maybe I should try the same technique while zentangling. For every musician (both Jazz and classic), the book is called EFFORTLESS MASTERY by Kenny Werner (an established jazz pianist). Should also be useful for Art. Another book by the same author : Becoming Rhe Instrument. Thanks for your Video!

I will hold you in Pink Lights of Healing for your scan... I had my last child when I was 38 and had tons of challenges with him leaving me feeling, like you said, that I was not a ‘good’ parent... but now, over 30 years later, I realize that both the era he was exposed to and his inability to stay away from drugs and alcohol was NOT a reflection of me as a parent. We just do the best we can and pray along the way!! Will post my creation of this Day... such fun! (And I usually watch to the end - LOL!)

Watching to the end. Does that count when you watch them once to the end then again - maybe only 5 minutes to pick up something you missed the first time? The first zentangles I watched were speeded up and I didn't realize what was going on. When I watch a fast one, I'm trying to keep up with it and frustrated that I can't.. That is not relaxing, nor helpful. Please keep yours slower! Praying for you.

Thanks for making the video, but I would appreciate it more if you didn’t have the background noise/music when you’re talking. It’s very distracting.
